So I got my free Primorye Energy Drink today in the mail and I thought it might be fun to start actually reviewing some of the freebies here on HIF. So, here we go.

The drink was sent in a small white box (which cost them $3.30 to send!) and all it contained was the energy drink, no adds, coupons, or any further information on the product, which I found odd. Usually when you get a free sample, they let you know where you can buy the product at nearby and such. Anyways, I stuck the drink in the fridge for a while and then around midnight tonight, I pulled it out and drank it in the span of about 5 minutes since I needed a little pick-me-up to keep me awake.

To be honest, it didn’t taste that great. My initial reaction was that it tasted like cough syrup, but after I took a few more sips, I realized what it tasted most like was kaopectate, the anti-diarrhea medicine. I know, sounds delicioius, huh? I wanted to finish the drink however to see if it actually did give me any energy.

Final verdict? Not a very good energy drink. I didn’t even feel remotely energized and now all I can help but feel is my poop will be regular now.
