I got my soyjoy bars a few days ago also, i wasnt aware of this site yet then, but anyway I was NOT a fan, it was ok when you would get a chunk of what im hoping is dried fruit, but besides that very bland and the texture i was not a fan of, i gave my roomie the Mango-CoConut one and he HATED it, hahaha, hey it was a good freebi tho

    THEY WERE DISGUSTING!

LMAO…….Love the video. When I tried a bite of my soyjoy bar, my reaction was very similar. I tried the true test…….I gave a bite to Bubba, my Rat Terrier. He would not even lick it. Come on now!!! I wonder what the person was smoking that came up with the name!

I hated those things so bad….the last one you had was pretty good in my opinion though..

Oh, and before I forget. Hail Jesus. (at you of course)

The mango coconut was my favorite (I use that word lightly) too.

  8. #8 Goob |

Haha, I’m glad I wasn’t the only person who thought they tasted horrible! :)

These were stunningly bad. The only joy we received was in the fact we didn’t pay for these!

The Mango Coconut ones are the only ones that are okay in my opinion. But when you get over the fact that they smell weird and look….weird( yes that is appropriate use of language), they aren’t bad. I know that people are out there trying to made better food for our bodies like soy sausage, but if it looks like meat and they try to make it taste like meat, why not eat the meat? There is a thing called moderation. You don’t have to eat a whole pound. But to each their own. Like I tell my kids, atleast try it; you never know. Speaking of kids( and knowing that they’ll pretty much eat anything) they only liked the mango ones. Well atleast they didn’t spit it out all over my carpet, making noises, scraping their tounge on anything avaliable.

First of all, to post #11-Really Andrea, name-calling is so not necessary, chill out! We are all entitled to our opinions!

Anyway, HILARIOUS review and helpful too. If only I had seen this BEFORE I sent off for the free sample. I hope to see more of your reviews in the future, that was great!

Hey, for those out there,I wasn’t being mean. If you didn’t read, I eat the Mango Coconut ones. Yes everyone out there is entitled to their opinions, but you don’t have to remark that way to others. I just think things are silly and we are all going crazy in someway. I think we all could do better if we sit back, relax, enjoy some humor, and eat a twinkie or a soy joy bar; what ever pleases you. Life is no good if you can’t laugh and have humor with things.

Love the review, spot on! Sadly, I paid for an apple cinnamon one and a berry one. I did have a great coupon, so theywere only $0.50 each, but gee-whiz, that’s a buck that could have been put to use on something better, like the slinky’s that were on clearance for $.50 each.

Goob, you are a gorgeous nut. I’m being brave and went for the Soyjoy freebie. I have a son who is a health nut and will eat practically anything. Thanks for the laugh.

I’m pretty sure I bought one of these in the store once. I almost never meet a nutrition/health/protein bar I don’t like, so I probably enjoyed it. I sent off for it so hopefully I will love it. Interesting video.
