Free Compilation Album Download from the Vancouver Son
As the folks on the forums know, I’m the guy to go to when it comes to music. Well, me and Pat, who sadly isn’t around or doesn’t post as much as he awesomely could. That means its no shock that I watched the VMAs last night, even if it was to just see the trainwreck opening. Not Sarah Silverman, I thought she was funny. Oh hey, look at me! I just plugged something so pop-culturally awesome that I can put it in the tags below and have people reading us just because I’m talking about Britney Spears! Awesome! Or not.
That aside, every so often over on the forums, I post links to CDs online to download. Most of the time, it’s something from my massive personal collection (13,784 songs, and growing daily), and every so often like this free compilation album download from the Vancouver Sun, it’s something I run across online that I think others might enjoy. Full albums from new and up-and-coming artists, or an old album that the group decided would be nice to release in full online. No matter how it is, I bring the music to the forums.
Needless to say, check out that free compilation album. If it’s any good, I might have to download it later and add 12 more songs to my massive collection. And if not? Well, it still can’t be as bad as a lackluster VMA opening now, could it?
EDIT: Dead now. Looks like it’s now no longer available. Sorry if you missed it, folks.

Am I blind? Where is the link to download it? I see mentions of the artists and links to the artists homepages, but no place to download each file individually or the whole thing in one zip. Grrr.
Ah, according to this:
http://www.canada.com/vancouversun/news/story.html?id=e91ce43a-69d7-4818-9c92-8c064742227e
it was a limited time download. It’s gone now.
Ah looks like you’re right, Brian. Sorry about that.
I didn’t download it myself because I’ve barely got the time to go through half the music I have on my computer. Had I done so, I’d host it for whomever wanted to grab it.
