Even though I’ve never heard of it, that didn’t stop me from signing up for some free Zours candy. Because like I said in the latest freebie review, I’ve got a massive sweet tooth. We’re talking a sweet tooth so big, it dwarfs all my other teeth. I have to eat an entire package of Double Stuff Oreos every day just to satisfy it. At least, that’s the excuse I tell people. I doubt they buy it, but I rarely care since I’m so hopped up on sugar every day!

I’ve always used 1-800-Free-411 in the past for free 411 calls, but I recently discovered that Google came out with their own version of free 411 phone calls at 1-800-GOOG-411. I played around with it today and I must say I’m impressed. I called up and asked for pizza listings in my area and one of the top choices was a joint that opened up just last week. I called again looking for a cigar store and they told me about a place I didn’t even know existed. They also will connect you to the business for free, send you a text message with the store’s information if you want to save it, and can also send you a local map of the area.

Yet another awesome service by Google, if you ask me!

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always suffered from massive chapped lips every winter. But as a kid, I didn’t really know what was wrong and thus I always licked my chops to try and sooth them. My mom finally spotted me doing so one day and after a quick inspection, pulled into the nearest pharmacy parking lot and told me to run in and buy something called Carmex. And….

Little Goob: Hi, do you have any Carmex for sale?
Old Lady Behind The Counter: No, sorry son.
Goob: Are you sure? My mom said I could get some Carmex in here.
OLBTC: Trust me, we don’t sell that here. Besides, those things are good for nothing anyway.
Goob: But my lips are really chapped and they hurt! Don’t you have anything I can buy?
OLBTC: How the heck are comics going to help cure your chapped lips?

Luckily for me, I don’t have to go into a pharmacy anymore and spend ten minutes trying to tell people I want Carmex and not comics. Why? Because I can just sign up for this free Carmex lip balm and have it sent straight to me in the mail!

This free toy from Toys R Us is only good for one more day and you have to go to the store in order to get it, but if you think you might be out running errands tomorrow, then stop by and get a freebie! Personally, I can’t decide which toy I should get: the free Hot Wheels car or the free Littlest Pet Shop Animal. On the one hand, I could give the little animal to my little sister and let her have some fun playing with it. On the other hand, I could get the car and run around the house making “VROOM VROOOOM” noises. Ugh, making decisions as a responsible adult is too hard!

Anti-Gun Sticker - I think these anti-gun stickers by the state of Florida are the only stickers that come in both English and Spanish. I’m not sure why, but I find that a little funny.

Back Country - Pretty cool looking sticker. They have three different colors to choose from and it’s easy to sign up for the stickers, just give them your address.

ComputerPranks.com - They require a SASE in order to get stickers, but honestly, is that really hard? I think not.

Last night, I couldn’t sleep.

I think it was the combination of caffeine and sugar. I mean, my last class on Tuesdays does run from 6pm-9pm, and seeing I stayed on campus studying from then through on till 11:30, well, I thought I’d be tired when I got home at midnight. But still, after laying in bed for an hour or two without falling asleep, I thought of this freebee I saw last night: a free hypoallergenic pillow cover. And all I needed to do was submit some information about my allergies.

Too bad I don’t have any allergies, but I think I found my own hypoallergenic pillow cover: a black trash bag. I shall name it Fred.

I’ve developed a bad habit recently. Well, the wife says its bad. For me, I don’t mind it.

See, I won’t take a shower for a few days. Like, I’ll just do other things. I’ll sit on my computer looking at freebees and talking to people on instant messengers, play around on MySpace and Facebook, check my classes online, find flash games, etc. You know, the standard procrastination things. Oooh, and Craigslist. Can’t forget that.

This isn’t really something wrong with that if I was just doing that all day. Yet, if you consider that I bike 2 miles to campus and then another 2 miles back home most days, and I’ll wear the same pair of jeans for a few days… Needless to say, I can be pretty ripe. And then, when I’ll finally shower? I’ll do it at such an inconvenient time that I’ll get a 10 minute quickie. Or, I’ll get in the shower and remember how great it is and I’ll be in there for almost an hour, get out, and think “Hmm, that was awesome, I should do that again soon.” Or not, because I’ll go another week without one.

I guess it’s a good thing that Wal*Mart is giving out this free Basis soap sample. It’ll make those bi-weekly showers better. Yes, it’s a facial soap, but who wouldn’t want all of their body as un-oily as their face…

Or maybe that’s just me?

I’m not even going to bother commenting on the whole “2x” in the product name of this free Ultra Tide laundry detergent. You all know by now that I think stuff like that is entirely stupid and unnecessary. But had I found this freebie a month ago, I probably wouldn’t have cared. For when I got home from my vacation, I smelled worse than a horse stable. In my effort to pack lightly, I brought enough clothes for about 5 days. For a 15 day trip. With lot’s of walking, sweating, and drinking involved. It’s amazing that by the end of the trip, I was able to be seated in a restaurant. I’m pretty sure US Customs tried quarantining me on suspicion that I was highly contagious with the ebola virus.

For anybody out there lucky enough to have a Nintendo Wii (like my little brother! Grrrr…), there is a way for you to get a free Nintendo Wii remote jacket. If this is made out of rubber, like I suspect it is, then you’ll certainly want to pick one up in order to get a better grip on the controller. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve almost thrown the remote right into the TV while playing the bowling or baseball game. In fact, I’d like it if everything in my house was coated in a thin layer of rubber, because I seem to drop pretty much anything I pick up.
