Free “Song of the Day” from Starbucks, now through November 7th
I don’t know how many music related posts I need to make before I make it clear that I’m the guy to come to when it comes to talking about music. Heck, when it came to posting this freebee, Pru designated that its me–and not Goob–who needed to make sure all of our readers knew about this one. Maybe it has something to do with the major differences between Goob and I that you can find by looking at our respective Last.FM pages. When you look at Goob’s page, you see that whatever he’s been listening to, it’s not been in a while. But then, you look at my page and you can see that I’m constantly listening to something, or I have over the past day or so. And I’m also unpredictable. Of course, you’d have to watch my trends closely to see that, but still.
Needless to say, with all of the music I listen to from early on in the day to late on at night, it’s only also fair to say that I drink a lot of coffee and tea. Starbucks tops that list too. Nothings better than getting a latte and some good tunes. I try to help out with the good tunes on the forums all the time, but sometimes I fall short and this thing called “life” gets in the way of me putting up albums.
So I guess its good that Starbucks is starting their Song of the Day promotion today. Yup, you can get free download cards at your participating Starbucks (not Starbucks serving cafés like what you might find on a college campus bookstore or at a Target, real Starbucks) and head online to the iTunes store for some of their own custom picked downloads each and every day from now till November 7th. Not bad! And while the promotion might end on November 7th, you can redeem the cards up till the end of the year. Gives you a reason to stop by your local Starbucks and see what each day has in store for you musically, I’d say.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to finish listening to Failure’s Magnified so that when I wake up tired tomorrow, I’ll have an excuse to visit a Starbucks for a free card in the morning… Looks like I planned this one out right.
