Hey, It’s Free!

Back when I was in high school, I worked at the local Blockbuster for a year or so and absolutely loved it. I got to rent new movies before they were “released,” I got five free rentals per week, and my entire job consisted of standing around talking about movies. It was the perfect job for a lazy teenager. But the best part about the job was the movie posters. Every week, they’d change the giant posters in the window to reflect the new releases and throw the old posters out. That changed as soon as I got there. I used to trip over myself in a mad race to the window to claim the ones I wanted, oblivious to the fact that nobody else seemed to desire them. I’d plaster them all over my room, give them away to friends, even use them as decorations in my car. So you can see why this free Sarah Conner Chronicles poster gets me all excited! It’s like reliving my younger days all over again.
