PJ Weekend at Brusters

Its that time of year again, folks… No, not B&J’s Free Cone day, we still have another month or so to wait on that one. But until then, if you’re one of the lucky folks that has a Bruster’s near you, they’re having their PJ weekend. So come dressed in your pajamas (or in ratty enough clothes if you sleep in the buff) and get a free single scoop cone from them.

But, call your local one (also found through that link above) and check. For the one near us, they only have it on Saturday and not all weekend. And enjoy your free ice cream… :)

Free NES Video Games

I spent way too many hours today playing countless free NES video games thanks to a link I found on Digg. It was being six all over again! You don’t even have to download anything in order to play the games. Simply find a game, click the link, and within seconds you’re playing. I doubt this site will be around much longer thanks to copyright laws and exploding bandwidth usage, so get in as much playing time as you can! In fact, that’s a pretty darn good excuse to use whenever anybody asks you why you just played Mega Man for 18 hours straight.

Free album from Aaron Lee Tasjan

Sometimes you need that right kick to start off your day. Just that right song to get you going.

For me the past few days, I’ve been spinning Aaron Lee Tasjan’s first EP, smile and nod EP after seeing him live this past weekend opening for Seven Mary Three. And even though I bought the EP at one of the shows, if you go to his website and then to his media page, you can download the exact album and rock out to 6 of his tracks from his first release.

A nice way to start your morning, or to rock you into the night. Some intelligent alt-americana/country/folk/rock music. Let’s see how many slashes you can put in YOUR description of him…

Free Tide With Dawn

EDIT: Doh! This is no longer available.

When I first saw this free Tide with Dawn StainScrubbers, I got a little confused. Isn’t Dawn simply dishwashing detergent? What makes it so special that it’s a good stain remover? In fact, if Tide thinks it’s good enough to put in their detergent, why do I even need to bother with a washing machine in the first place? That’s it, I’m taking my laundry into the kitchen and throwing it in the dishwasher! I’ll let you know how it goes :)

Free True Lemon Powder

I’m pretty sure I’ve posted this free True Lemon sample a few times already in the past, because I vaguely remember making some bad jokes about it before. Maybe it was just a dream though, who knows. I’m posting it again thought, because now whenever somebody requests a free sample, not only will they get one free packet of it, but 10 free packets will also be shipped overseas to the troops. I don’t even like lemonade anymore, but if signing up for some free samples means a few troops get to experience the awesomness that is freebies, I’m all for it!

Free Tahoe Chewing Tobacco

EDIT: This is no longer available.

We here at Hey, It’s Free! Labs don’t endorse smoking or chewing tobacco as a top habit to get addicted to. Personally, we recommend getting hooked on petting bunnies. It’s a heck of a lot healthier and women think they’re cute to boot. But just because Goob and Adam don’t happen to chew or smoke, that doesn’t mean other freebie fanatics out there don’t either, so I guess that means it’s okay to post this free Tahoe chewing tobacco offer. But you can only sign up for it on one condition: you must promise to pet a bunny and/or something equally as fluffy!

The Future Of Business Is Free!

This isn’t really a freebie, in fact, it’s not a freebie at all. But I just read this article on Wired.com about how businesses and companies are embracing the concept of giving more and more things away for free and I thought some other freebie fanatics might enjoy reading it as well. It doesn’t focus on the world of freebies as we know it, where we sign up for free samples or swag, but instead looks at how companies like Google, Yahoo, Gillette, and more make billions while still giving most, if not all, of their services away for free.

Two Free Lubricant Sample Offers

EDIT: This freebie is dead now.

Just leave it here to us at HIF to keep things going smoothly on your computer and in the bedroom. That being said, I heraldly mark my return (and my procrastination of installing and upgrading things on my site and my homework) with a two-fer freebee.

Yes folks, see if this free pre-lubricant sample isn’t enough for you? Well, you can go with a free sample of Joe’s best lube. Trust me that I won’t be reviewing either one, but if you’d like to submit your reviews when you receive your products, I’m sure that Goob wouldn’t mind a few e-mails. And maybe he’ll even post one. You’ve got his contact info…

Free Mario Forever Video Game

The freebie landscape has been a little barren lately, so I apologize for the lack of posts lately. But we’ve made it through such stretches before and I know we’ll get through this one as well! My family has been in a bit of a Mario craze lately though, as we now have every single Mario game in the known universe. I’m pretty sure we got Super Mario Taxes recently too, where Mario and Yoshi sit around doing their taxes. Oh, and there’s Super Mario Grass! Luigi and Peach just lie in the front yard of the castle and watch the grass grow. Ahhh, good times. But now there’s this free Mario Forever video game we all can download and play on our computers. Yes! Another Mario hit for my addiction!

Free Tree

EDIT: Hope you got your tree already, because this is now dead!

Yep, you read that headline correctly. In celebration of Arbor Day, you can get a free tree mailed to you to plant in your yard! Despite the website looking like it was built back in the late 90s, some people on the forums can vouch for it as they got trees from them last year. Unfortunately for me, I probably won’t be getting this as there’ll be no room for a tree in my yard. I’m not going to have even a single tree in mine. No grass, either! As a kid, I hated mowing the lawn, so I vowed that when I grew up, I’d get a yard with astroturf and just vacuum it from time to time. You know, on second though, maybe that’s not the smartest idea I’ve ever had.
