Free Office Supplies

I don’t know about anyone else in school or anyone who might have kids in school, but I can tell you that I go through pens, paper, and notebooks like four hippos go through marbles!

Needless to say, on the forums we’ve had folks hard hard at work finding tons of freebees for many of these necessary items… Pens, paper, folders, envelopes, mousepads–you name it!

Instead of picking one or two and featuring them here, I think it’s about time that you head over to the forums and sign up for all of them that you feel like!

Thank you Froggie and Moose for the phenomenal work!

Free Alaway Eye Drops

Despite wearing contacts for much of my life, I’ve been lucky enough not to suffer from dry, itchy eyes. So I probably won’t have any use for these free Alaway eye drops from Bausch & Lomb. Or course, the whole problem about not being able to see without contacts kinda even things out, if you ask me. I thought about getting Lasik a while back, but put it off once I realized how expensive it was. I tried shining the laser of one of those red pointer thingies in my eye to see if I could perform the operation myself, but it should come as no shock that I failed miserably.

What I lack in common sense, I more than make up for in stupidity!

Free IHOP Pancakes

I’m posting this a day early so that more people will be alerted to Tuesday, February 12th being National Pancake Day! Why should they care? Because tomorrow you can get some free pancakes from IHOP! From 7 a.m. to 10p.m., you can get a free short stack (three) of buttermilk pancakes and in exchange, you’ll simply be asked to consider making a donation to Children’s Miracle Network. However, do note that making a donation is not required to get the free pancakes. It’s kinda like pants, you’re not required to wear them whenever you go outside to get the mail…but you know what? It might be a good idea to do so anyways.

Freebie Review 17 - Chick-fil-A Calendar

Good Day everyone! Shaynon here with a freebie review just for you! Today’s freebie for review is the Chick-fil-A Calendar and the goodies that come with it. This was posted back on December 31st, 2007 and I received mine on February 2nd, 2008.

This is a great freebie to me because it holds a surprise. Along with your calendar you also get a coupon for a free chicken biscuit. Great, I thought. Upon receiving the calendar I found the Chick-fil-A card which is like a food gift card. 2000 of the cards were going to have money on them. I called when I got mine and of course mine was blank…that’s ok. Back to the calendar for a minute. At the bottom of each calendar page is a coupon also. Examples range from, Free Chick-fil-A chicken salad sandwich, Free Chick-n-strips (with purchase of a medium Iced tea, ect…not a bad deal.) You don’t get many freebies with normal calendars.

So back to the card. I have been to Chick-fil-A once in my life. There isn’t one near where I live so it’s not something that I would remember if I was out. My uncle up in Pittsburgh, however, goes there everyday in the summer. It’s his hang out after golfing. I loaded the card up with some money and I’m giving it and the coupons to him for his birthday next month. I’m putting it all in the MasterCard check presenter that was posted as a freebie a few months back. Gotta love it when you can combine your freebies!

The promotion for the Chick-fil-A coupons and calendar is over, but if you check out their website, you can sign up to receive notice when there are promotions in the future. For those of you who signed up and received this I hope you enjoyed it!

My rating out of (1-5) :) :) :) :) :)

Edit by Goob: I just got an e-mail from fellow hiffer Jaime that she got $100 on her giftcard! So make sure you check your cards out, folks!

Free Historical Figures Bookmarks

Imagine, you’re reading a book about Smucker’s Jelly but you start feeling hungry for a sandwich, so what better thing to hold your place than a George Washington Carver bookmark? Or how about this one: a book about the WNBA and you decide you’d rather go outside and play some basketball so you reach for your Susan B. Anthony bookmark. Or your book on Edison and Tesla’s feud, so you zap your Ben Franklin bookmark into place.

The possibilities are seemingly endless for historical humor with these free historical figure bookmarks… Just think of taking Eisenhower with you to to the beach, Jefferson on the plane with you when you fly in for Mardi Gras at the Big Easy, or Roosevelt with you to your finance class!

Free Hand Sanitizer Sample

Usually here on HIF, we like to post freebees that we can all be lazy about and just click on through with a few forms and submit that way. Seeing, though, our webmaster Goob has been getting his hands a bit dirty on the forums with some upgrades, well, I felt it was fitting to post something a little bit different…

This one is a call in freebee for Sani-Hands for Kids. And even if you don’t have kids, you could always use to carry a wet-nap in your pocket. Heck, I have two in my wallet. Never know when you’re going to need them. So you can call them up at 1-877-SANIKID (1-877-726-4543) and ask for your free sample today for the next time that you might need some…

Oh, and speaking of the forum upgrades, stop by and wish our fearless leader a happy belated birthday! (2/7) The guy’s only a week after my own… Albeit a few years before, but that’s beside the point… :)

Coupon: Free Flat Earth Crisps

EDIT: This is dead.

I thought about giving my mom this coupon for some free Flat Earth Crisps, but then I started having second thoughts. Why? Because I’m a little scared over the flying pig on their website. This company knows pigs can’t fly, right? Or have they managed to create genetically enhanced mutant pigs with wings? Wait a minute…is that what these Earth Crisps are made out of? Mutant flying pig parts? People, be warned! I think I’m on to something here!

Free Neck Warmer

Ok, I have a confession to make. I’ve never really had a need for a free neck warmer. There, I’ve said it. I must have an abnormally hot neck or something. Don’t come near me or I’m afraid I’ll scorch you!

Free Facial Products

For as long as I can remember, my mom has used stuff similar to these free facial products and let me just say this - as a kid, she used to scare the crap out of me. It’s be late at night, I’d need to ask her a question, and so I’d walk in her room and slide up beside the bed. She’d usually be reading a book, so I couldn’t see her face, but when she’s hear me walk in and start talking she would slowly lower the book. And that’s when I wouldn’t see my mom, but instead would see some alien impostor with a dark green slimy face and totally freak out. She’d then laugh and call out to me as I ran down the hallway back to my bedroom.

And you know what? I so can’t wait to have kids of my own now

Free Dove Cream Oil Lotion

For some reason, this free Dove Cream Oil lotion sounds delicious to me. It sounds like a delicious dessert if you ask me. In fact, knowing my subconscious, I’ll somehow order one of these the next time I’m out at dinner with friends or a date. The evening will be going well, I’ll be witty and carry on some light banter all throughout the meal. Then the waiter will walk over, ask if we want anything else, and my mind will convince my mouth to say, “Yeah! We’ll have a little dove cream oil lotion and some coffee.” And then I’ll look like an idiot…yep, sounds about right!
