Friend of the site Alissa of Free Samples Direct is giving away $25 to whoever sends the most traffic her way over the next week. Now, I doubt HIF will win, but if we do I’ll turn around and give it away to one of my lucky readers.**

No, the reason I like FSD is because it’s actually a darn good freebie site. There’s only six other freebie sites I read on a daily basis and it’s at the top of my list. Most people mention that they like how I keep all of those spammy fake “freebies” off of HIF – well, FSD is no different. In fact, she’s so good at finding legit freebies, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve found a freebie on her site before I’ve been able to post it on HIF

ACTUALLY FREE FREEBIES!!! there are really no “take a survey, make a credit card, and do 1,000 of these things” freebies here. just mostly honest,”enter you’re name and address and how you heard about it” sites that usually mail the product.

I like HIF because of the people. There are a thousand freebie sites but HIF is different. HIF of course doesn’t bother with the spammy crap, and the forums are pretty good about keeping up with the new & good freebies, but also that all the people here on HIF are fantastic. That’s why I keep coming back

I like HIF because this place is honestly like a second home to me. There are awesome folks on the boards at all times, friendly competition over in the arcade, and a hell of a captain for this crazy crew.

Not to mention who else would give me a chance to blog randomly about free crap you find online. I mean, seriously, how cool is that to do?

I love HIF for the simple reason that it is FREE STUFF!!
You make it so easy for us how can we not enjoy all the fun things you find for us to try…..THANK YOU!!! But I will say it does help me in alot of ways when you are a single mom trying to make it in this crazy world it ALL HELPS trust me…..

Heyitsfree is one of the few websites I visit daily! I feel like I hold stock in it. I love getting and sharing freebies. I love the connection between the members. What other site could be as great as this!

I like HIF because it shows you how to get the best free stuff on the Web, quickly and with no hassle. I don’t get SPAM or unwanted “offers,” either—just fun little perks in my mailbox (while the neighbors get nothing but bills)! It makes me look forward to getting the mail. HIF is an indespensible part of my frugal lifehacking hobby! One way to improve the site is to create a section dedicated to discussing survey sites. Another way to improve the site is to offer more contests like this one! Oh, you’re doing that already. Thanks, Goob!

I love this site because you talk about freebies with refreshing breath of humor. Like you’ll totally get all like, “Um. So. Yeah. More Dove Lotion. Awesome. I totally don’t have enough of that already sitting in my medicine cabinet. But I’mo get it.”

It’s freebies with heart. A sometimes sarcastic heart.

I also like it because It doesn’t ever have like “Free Gift Card when you sign up for umpteen sites and give out your credit card information.”

And therefore, Hey, it’s Free is just freakin’ awesome. My medicine cabinet thanks you.
