I received a very nice email saying that they received 24,000 requests over 2 days, and that as a "mom and pop" company, they could only honor requests willing to pay shipping and handling. It sounded reasonable to me. If they paid for all that product and shipping, it would be a big hit for a smaller company.

Gilora, we just noticed that as well. There's no way they can charge you for the shipping since they only ask for your address, but we'll keep this post updated if we learn that this company isn't sending out the freebies.

Gee George It's a free sample, it does not say it makes a meal for a whole family. Times are tough, free samples are great.

Perhaps we'd be better served if you'd leave the fun and this GREAT service to those of us who can appreciate it for whatever our reason is. Wow George really needs to lighten up. Everyone enjoys freebies- and yes some of them can help you create a meals on a budget when put together (like a package of free rice a while back, when mixed with some chicken made- wow- wait for it- chicken and rice! or you know like a side dish etc.) and pancake mix is like $2 or $3 a package- that stuff adds up! George, let's remember what Thumper always says (from Bambi if we don't remember)- if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.. On to other topics- Brinner is MY FAVORITE MEAL! I absolutely love to go to Perkins or IHOP or Dennys and order my favorite omelette or steak and eggs at night. But THE best time for breakfast is like between dinner time, and like midnight or later.. yummy!! A much better fourthmeal then the Taco Bell ;)
