Free Member’s Mark Baby Formula

What better time is there to get a child started on freebies than when he or she is still a baby? I’ve never heard of this free Member’s Mark baby formula, but then again it’s been 25 years since I was a baby and I don’t quite remember what it was I had in those days. Though, I have to say, I think that’s for the best. There are some memories a person just shouldn’t have, if you know what I’m saying.

Not a good deal even if free. A much better option would be to make your own from Raw Milk.
The reasons are clear and worth checking out.

    See the testimony below

Then one day I got an email from my favorite Great Uncle Roy, warning me not to use soy formula. I had never heard anything abut the dangers of soy formula. Uncle Roy is not the type to speak out — he’s a very mild-mannered, mind-his-own-business kind of guy. So I figured if he cared enough to send this, it must be important.

He sent me a link to an article about soy formula on the Weston A. Price foundation website. I was impressed at how well-researched the article was. I started reading some of the other articles on the site. They recommended making your own homemade baby formula. From raw milk.

I read everything I could find about raw milk. I googled, read books — researched it for a whole month. By the end of that month, I was absolutely convinced. I needed to make Kate’s formula from scratch, and it had to be made from raw, unpasteurized, unhomogenized milk.

I joined a Yahoo email group for mothers following the Weston A. Price dietary guidelines and making homemade formula. They encouraged me and I started making it. We are lucky in California because we can buy raw milk in stores (one of the few states in the nation).

Kate had a bad case of cradle cap when she was on commercial formula. Within two weeks of using the homemade formula, the cradle cap disappeared.

I’m so grateful for the Weston A. Price Foundation. I know this is the healthiest thing I can feed my baby — short of breast milk. I’m grateful too to my Uncle Roy for sending me this information. Not only is Kate doing well on the formula, but the WAPF community has opened me up to so many other things.

Better yet… the best freebie of all… mother’s milk.

No artificial non-human milk substitute can provide the antibodies, bio-available nutrition, and long-lasting health benefits as human milk from the baby’s own mother!

Also, breastfeeding uses no resources for packaging, shipping or disposal.

When I first saw that title, I thought it said, “Maker’s Mark,” and I said, finally! Someone’s adding whiskey to formula!

So, for those of us who can’t breastfeed, and are giving our babies formula, here’s my comments on MM formula. I ordered a sample about 6 weeks ago and received it yesterday. You get enough to make 1 quart of formula. I actually started giving my baby this formula about 1 month ago and haven’t had any problems with it. It mixes well, no clumps, and no air bubbles. Enfamil made my baby gassy, and Similac gave him diarrhea. MM is great – same nutritional content of the brand names, but much cheaper ($19 for a 3 pound can) and works better with my baby’s digestion. Don’t be afraid of the store brand…

i actually really like the MM brand also! we use the kind for fussiness/gassiness and it worked a miracle, our daughter finally stopped screaming after every feeding. in my book, anything that works is good, especially when you can get a free sample!!
