Free “Recycle Today… Save Tomorrow” Wristband
The city of Tampa, Florida, is now handing out those fun little plasticy wristbands. Yup a free ‘Recycle Today… Save Tomorrow’ wristband. And just because its in Tampa doesn’t mean its a Florida only freebee, surprisingly. Yes, my Canadian friends, you are good to go.
Then again, when I lived in Florida I did know a lot of Canadians there… And New Yorkers too…
Florida must be recycling folks from other states too…

No offense to the good folks of Tampa-it is the thought that counts– but I wonder about the thought process that went into deciding to hand out many pieces of plastic (to promote recycling of all things) which will, no doubt, for the most part end up in a landfill. Perhaps it is stamped with a plastic recycling code on the inside. I think I’ll pass on this one.
