To say that I was a nerd growing up would imply that I’m no longer a nerd now. And seriously, how much more geeky could I be than writing for a freebie website and listening to podcasts while playing Dungeons and Dragons on Facebook? Yeah, exactly.
So it would be no wonder that when I saw this free Magic: The Gathering deck offer, it reminded me of my youth and my nearly complete Ice Age set… Oh, those were the days…
And then? I started playing the Star Wars collectible card game. I plead the fifth.

Am I missing something? I go to the Magic web page from the link and there doesn’t seem to be anything free there.
Seems to still be working, David. You just have to click on the “Claim your Free Deck” link, verify your age, and it’s good to go!
There’s no link like that. Maybe the site can tell I’m from Canada??

I’m sorry, but I really can’t find this on the website.
Just received the cards in the mail today. Nothing special.
I got 12 blues cards, 12 islands, 11 whites, 12 plains, and 1 artifact. 48 cards (ALL FREE!! sweet)
Not bad considering I got a couple uncommons, nothing worth $, but maybe, just maybe they might be some day. I’ll just add them to my huge collection from 15 years ago and see how time affects them. Heck I might even dig them all out and create a playing deck again.
