Not sure how bad you want David to win…but if you go on the website and keep refreshing the screen…it will let you keep voting…..I just added 10 points to him……
At this rate…with a few people…we could surpass that other guy by the end of the day

Actually, today’s the last day of voting and the other guy looks to have the lead all but locked up

I want to thank everybody who voted though, just watching the number of votes for Cameron spike by a thousand after I made this post made me all giddy inside. None of you had any real incentive to vote, yet you took the time out of your day to do so for me and for that, I thank you all.

It’s the least I could do! Plus, scholarships saved me from a lifetime of tuition debt.

I’ve just discovered HIF and am totally addicted! You guys have everything. I mean Hooka tobacco. Who knew?Anyway, my first sample arrived last week, Greenies cat treats (my cat loved them by the way), and more samples arrived today. It’s like having a holiday everyday!

I just want to further thank everybody who has voted and helped to get the word out for Cameron. I can’t believe we helped crash the site though, talk about the power of HIF!

A few people have asked me why I’m voting for him. I mentioned on the forums it’s because I’ve been reading the site he works on daily for over 4 1/2 years now. They don’t come close to making a profit on the site, they’ve never charged a subscription, and the research / analysis they go into for baseball is outstanding. So far he’s written 5,457 posts, which is…just…wow. For comparison, I’ve been posting almost every day on HIF for the past few years and only have 1,450 posts. Supporting my sources of entertainment (be it music, writing, or anything else) has always been important for me, so I thought I’d take up the cause and try to thank Cameron by helping him earn a scholarship he most certainly deserves.

The scholarship is for excellence in blogging and what got Dave nominated was a post he wrote pleading with one of the best young pitchers in baseball to change his approach to pitching. It was such a good argument that somebody got the post into the pitcher’s hands where he took the suggestions to heart, tried them out, and found success in the new approach.

People make fun of bloggers and say they’re pointless, not real journalists, whatever. But it’s a stigma that just doesn’t stick for some people.

I voted myself…and I sent the link to my lazy friends that I share all of my freebie links with…I do all the leg work..and they get to share in the wealth of the tons of freebies I get…so they owe it to me to vote for him…besides…my son’s name is Cameron…so this guy must deserve this! LOL Good luck to him!
