High fructose corn syrup is the same as sugar. It’s fine in moderation, just like sugar. I’m not trying to sound horrible, but where did you hear that high fructose corn syrup is bad? Are there any articles published? I’d really like to read em. Again, not trying to sound horrible or mean, I really would like to read the articles, if there are any.

I was so excited to try this cereal, and then I saw that it has high fructose corn syrup in it. They really do have everything. That stuff is poison.

Hi Dana. A quick google search gave me these as the ingredients:

Whole Grain Wheat, Sugar, Dried Cranberries, Corn Syrup, Whole Grain Oats, Crisp Oats (Rice Flour, Whole Grain Oats, Sugar, Malt Extract, Salt, BHT [Preservative], Glycerin, Brown Sugar, Toasted Oats [Whole Grain Oats, Sugar, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Soybean Oil., Honey, Brown Sugar, Molasses), Salt, Wheat Bits (Whole Grain Wheat, Corn Starch, Corn Flour, Sugar, Salt, Trisodium Phosphate, Baking Soda, Color Added), Honey, Brown Sugar Syrup, Natural and Artificial Flavor, Cinnamon, Color Added. BHT Added to Preserve Freshness. Vitamins and Minerals: Calcium Carbonate, Vitamin C (Sodium Ascorbate), Vitamin E Acetate, Zinc and Iron (Mineral Nutrients), a B Vitamin (Niacinamide), a B Vitamin (Calcium Pantothenate), Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine Hydrochloride), Vitamin B1 (Thiamine Mononitrate), Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin), Vitamin A (Palmitate), a B Vitamin (Folic Acid), Vitamin B12, Vitamin D3.

So uh, it looks like you might be good, I think… Still, I’d check the sample once it comes and see on their box. I hope that helps!

Does anyone know if this cereal has nuts or peanuts in it? I have to be careful with what I eat. I don’t want to go into anyphylactic shock anytime soon…
