Free Birthstone of the Month

Freebie offers with themes can have a way of backfiring. Sort of like the “Dress as a Cow” day at Chick-Fil-A. And I think that this free birthstone of the month one might backfire as well just a bit…

You see, you get to have the birthstone of the current month with your request. Luckily for me, my birthday is the last day in January so when I request, I’ll get my birthstone.
But what about our fearless leader, Goob, who’s got an early February birthday; our reviewer Shaynon who has to wait till May; or our other forums moderator Froggie who has to wait all the way till August? Can Goob, Shaynon, or Froggie request now and every other month up to and on their birthday?

I guess we’ll have to just click and find out…

What browser are you using, Julie? I’m having no issues in Firefox 3 and I just now tried IE7 and it worked fine as well…

Site keeps telling me security code does not match, when I type it exactly what I see. Tried it about 8 times & gave up!

Did anyone else notice that the ? by each birthstone tells you what “powers” that stone has? My birthstone, sapphire, protects against poison and plague! I guess that’s why those things have never afflicted me, lol. Unless you count food poisoning.

I had no trouble, it said it would be sent at the end of each month, which is great because I am January!!!

I am going to wait for my burth month but found it interesting that the little green [?] tells what the stone means and mine says “stops wounds from bleeding” and I’m a nurse SO yea.

You must fill in every field-even if you just do zeros for the phone no. and you will need to leave a omment. The security code changes each time you submit w/o all fields complete so retype the new code once you filled in the missing info. then hit submit.

Submitting the form didn’t work for me either UNTIL I clicked on a couple of their web pages. Then I went back and resubmitted their form and it went through!

I thought that sites offering freebies were required to at least confirm that you’re over 13? It will be interesting to see if they send me anything.

I had no problems signing up. I use Firefox…just clicked the link, entered the info and the security code and got confirmation.

The offer is scam. All they do is fish for your contact details. It got rejected when I submitted it to Buxr

The form actually works, scroll down after submitting. It will give you what is the problem if any or will give you success message.
I called them about my stone and the confirmed my submission.

At the top, it says due to high volume, you have to send a self-addressed stamp envelope to receive your free stone. They are only sending out garnet for january.
