I believe that is a resonable request to those that are truly interested. This is a great product whose time has come. I started soaking it in water (cold) and it started dissolving almost instantly. The thin top part is almost gone! I guess I'm not sure about the bottom part. If they aren't plastic they sure as heck look and feel like it. Although I was wrong about it being like a paper towel in the bottom. It is like the bottom half of the bag is white and thicker. Not to mention the bag is huge! I don't know how this couldn't get stuck in your pipes. The material doesn't look like it breaks down either. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and I'll soak this bag in water and write back with my results.
