Free $10 General Mills Coupons

EDIT: Looks like this is no longer available.

General Mills is giving away a $10 coupon booklet if you sign up for their Eat Better America newsletter. It won’t take much effort for me to start eating better, because I’m sure it can’t get any worse. My lunch today consisted of a handful of spinach, what I think was leftover steak, and three pickles. Or what I like to call “everything I found on the top shelf of the refrigerator.” It’s my favorite meal!

Free Interview Magazine Subscription

EDIT: This freebie is no longer available.

Based on the name alone, I already love this free Interview magazine subscription offer. My hatred for products with horrendous or confusing names is well documented, but that doesn’t mean I can’t tip my hat in recognition every now and then. I can picture the creators of this magazine sitting around a large oak table, engaged in a heated debate over what the title should be, when one guy in the corner finally shouts “let’s just call it Interview!” It’s perfect! It’s easy to remember, I know what to expect, and I’m not angry. The trifecta has been achieved.

(Today Only) Free Suave Shampoo

EDIT: Well, seeing as how it’s no longer Jan. 14, this is dead!

For today only, women can get a coupon for a free bottle of Suave shampoo and the only thing I have to say is “what the crap?” I’m penalized for being a dude once again? First they wouldn’t let me use the far nicer bathroom, then they made me sign up for the Selective Service System when I turned 18, and now I don’t get this freebie? When will the injustice end?! Well I’ll show them. Try and guess who Ms. Goobina Smith really is!

Free Hearts & Minds Peanut Butter

This free Hearts & Minds peanut butter is not only made with olive oil, but is also the perfect freebie for any Wil Parker fans out there. What? You don’t know who he is? Come on, how can you not be a fan of one of the world’s leading peanut butter experts?! I’m pretty sure I remember seeing girls pin up his picture in their high school lockers and draw his name in hearts all over their notebooks. Or maybe that was Justine Timberlake… You can see how easy it’d be to get those two names mixed up!

Free Febreze Sport Sample

EDIT: Looks like this is now dead :(

Even though I’m married and out of college, I still swear by the sniff test: if I can smell it, Febreze the sucker then wear it; if it still smells after the Febreze, add some cologne; and if all of that fails? Rub a dryer sheet on it and Febreze it again.

That’s what makes this free Febreze Sport sample so wonderful. If I were to tell you how much Febreze I use a year? Yeah, you’d run out and buy stock in the company today…

Free Mini Cooper Keychain

EDIT: Its dead, folks. Drove itself off a cliff, you could say…

Back when I was in Orlando, a friend of mine used to have a Mini Cooper. To say that it was a fun little car was an understatement. Zipping through traffic, even if we were going to Five and Diner or Target was like The Italian Job. No joke!

So maybe this free Mini Cooper keychain will help me remember those days… Even if he did trade it in for a different car not 6 months after he first got it. Haha!

Free Rachael Ray Nutrish Dog Food

EDIT: This is no longer available.

I’m not a fan of Rachael Ray. Give me Alton Brown or Morimoto or even Guy Fieri, but not Rachel. Heaven forbid Rachael Ray. Of course, Sandra Lee is almost as egregious when we’re talking about Food Network Chefs, but that’s beside the point.

Luckily for me, we don’t have a dog because if we did? I still wouldn’t order this free sample of Rachael Ray Nutrish Dog Food. Yup, my dog wouldn’t get a freebie because we’re a Rachael Ray Free household.

Free Eucalyptus Milk

Please don’t ask me what this free eucalyptus milk is, because I haven’t the slightest. Can I drink it? How about my pet koala? Is it a body oil? I seriously have no idea, but it’s late in the afternoon and my brain has already put up the “Closed” sign in the window.

Hey, every post can’t be a comedic gem!

Free Hershy’s Fastrack To Sports

EDIT: So I see Adam beat me to this one yesterday. My bad!

This free Hershy’s Fastrack to Sports kit is designed to be used as a motivational tool to get kids up and moving. It comes with a DVD, starter guide, and some legends of Track & Field trading cards that might be helpful to some of you parents or teachers out there. I haven’t the slightest idea how at age 25 I’m about to utter these words, but in my day being active was never a problem! Sure we had home movies and video games too, but easily 90% of my childhood memories are of me and my buddy Alex getting into trouble outside.

In fact, I think I should be the next spokesman for any DVD encouraging kids to play outside. Some of the activities I could demonstrate include throwing water balloons into open bedroom windows, chopping down trees to make bridges across creeks, and my personal favorite of building snowballs so big, they take up the entire road! Hollywood, my agent is awaiting your call.
