Free TriPro Hat

Do you know what this new free TriPro hat and previous free Outdoor Channel hat offers say to me? If you listen closely, you’ll hear the faint whispering of “springtime” floating through the air. Of course, that’s probably just the result of me hiding in your heating ducts and whispering it over and over, but let’s ignore the fact that I’m hidden in your walls and focus on the ever approaching time where temperatures rise and sunshine blankets us all.

Except for me, because I think I’m stuck in here. Send help or at least a turkey sandwich!

Free Woman’s Day Magazine

EDIT: This is no longer available.

I love how this free Woman’s Day magazine subscription offer has a copy of the magazine in the header that reads “Things You Can Get For Free!” Do you think they mentioned in the article the fact that people can get a year’s subscription to that very magazine for free?

Free Geocup Sample

The most common question I hear from folks is “How do you like the weather?” You see, being the middle of winter and having moved from Florida to Illinois? Its a bit of a change of course.

And now, I feel like I need things like these free Geocup samples just so I can drink more hot drinks and smile and laugh and tell them they should come on up and pack only Hawaiian shirts and shorts. Its definitely a luau here!

Of course, they don’t need to know that they might want to pack some pants and jackets to wear OVER those clothes… Nah, not important…

Free New Yorker Inauguration Cover

I feel like I’m stringing my posts along this morning to logically tie them together. From my childhood spoon to talking about childhood running for the presidential challenge and now talking about the President Elect and this free New Yorker Inauguration Cover.

Honestly, if I was planning out these freebies, I wouldn’t be doing this. With this sort of cosmic connection I’d be buying lotto tickets and not scrounging around for shampoo satchels…

Free Hershey’s Track and Field Kit

Speaking of my childhood and thinking back on last night, I never was much of a runner. I just couldn’t bring myself to do the mile run for the President’s fitness challenge very fast at all. Probably that was because I didn’t have something like this free Hershey’s Track and Field kit to motivate me with its all-star trading cards and DVD.

That, but probably also because I was too young to worry about the zombie apocalypse.

Free Gerber Spoon

When I was younger, I had a favorite Mickey Mouse spoon that I always had to use. There was something to the grip of the handle that if I didn’t have it? The spoon didn’t feel right.

So parents, if you complete the pledge offer with some of your child’s photos for a slideshow on the Gerber page, you can get them their very own free Gerber spoon. And then you can be just as frustrated as my mom was when it becomes their favorite spoon and you have to clean it after each meal so they can use it at the next one.

I wonder what happened to my spoon…

Free Soy Joy Bars (Yes, again)

EDIT: This offer is no longer available. That sound you just heard was your tastebuds rejoicing.

If you’ve been around this site a while, you’ll know that we have an “established relationship” with Soy Joy bars. Why, it seems that they just pop up and pop up. Just like cockroaches…

All of that being said, before redeeming your free Soy Joy bar from Wal*Mart’s site, you might want to take a look at Goob’s freebie review of these suckers.

That being said, you make the call whether or not to request them this time… You’ve been adequately advised, however…

Free BK Whopper via Facebook

EDIT: Unfortunately Facebook is being a bunch of jerkwads and have put an end to this campaign.

I’m not much of a fast food eater and when I do grab a quick meal, it’s rarely at Burger King. That said, their advertising and promotions are light years ahead of their competitors and this free Burger King Whopper via Facebook promo is no different. The gist of the deal is that you add their application to your Facebook page and then sacrifice 10 of your friends. That’s right, they want you to delete ten people from your friends list.

Why? I have no idea. Does it make sense? Little if any. Is it a fantastic promotion that’s guaranteed to succeed and go viral throughout the Internet because of how random it is? You bet your sweet butt! I’ve already added the application and have begun fielding offers from my friends as to why I should keep them around. Nothing helps pass the time like groveling at somebody’s feet!

You know what else passes time? Joining the Hey, It’s Free! Facebook group. That should help pass 10, maybe 15 seconds easy.

Free Suze Orman Book Download

Oprah sure does love giving away Suze Orman books. She did it last summer and now you can download a free copy of Suze Orman’s 2009 Plan. The freebie lasts until 11:59 p.m. CT on Thursday, January 15, so you’ve got a whole week to prepare for Orman to yell at you.

Frankly, I’m downright frightened of her and panic that I’ll see her as I flip through the channels. But it totally works, because whenever I’m about to make a frivolous purchase, I picture her berating me for not being able to afford it and that usually results in me running from the store crying and calling for mommy. Hooray for savings!

Coupon: Free Famous Star Burger with Cheese from Carl’s Jr.

EDIT: I’m personally blaming Kobe Bryant for this freebie dying on us simply because there’s such a huge picture of him on the freebie site. You just know he was involved somehow.

I don’t want to hear about burgers. After gorging on Burger King for lunch yesterday? I’ve had enough.

I guess its a good thing that I don’t have a Carl’s Jr. nearby otherwise I’d feel obligated to use this free Famous Star Burger with Cheese coupon. Yup, just type in the code PLO987 (the letter O, not zero) and you too can have a free burger.

Excuse me, I need to search for some free antacids now. I’m still feeling it the day after…
