Instore: Free Denny’s Breakfast (Tuesday)

I’d heard about this a few days ago, but wanted to wait until the official word went out tonight during the Super Bowl. In case you missed the commercial, Denny’s is giving away a free Grand Slam breakfast to everybody who wants one this Tuesday from 6am to 2pm. What the commercial didn’t mention was that in addition to the free breakfast, each Denny’s location has been given 1,000 coupon booklets to give away on a first come, first serve basis.

I’ll provide a link as soon as I can, but their site crashed after the commercial aired. (edit: Their website is back up and running, so here’s the proof.) I don’t know about you, but I think that was the most exciting thing to happen all night so far.

I also heard that they are giving out rain checks (each store has 500 rain checks) for those who do not want to wait to eat on tues. They are welcome to come back another day to eat for free. Just thought I would let you know.

Does anyone know if there is a limit other than one per person? In other words, if I go with my 4 kids, can we each get one?

Another great thing they had last night was the free Universal Studios tickets. I hope I get one!

Rain checks make this Denny’s breakfast totally worth it.

Im wondering if ALL the Denny’s will be doing this? Also..is there any fine print…like..you ahve to BUY ONE to get one free?

Yes, the fine print says…..dine in only, some restrictions apply, and while supplies last.

However, I could not find the “restrictions” anywhere.

Best Super Bowl game I have seen in awhile but cannot say alot about the half time show.

I just called my local Denny’s and they said that it is good for Everyone that walks in through that door! Waking the kids up early for breakfast!! Giddya up!

FYI, Folks….If you sign up for their breakfast club while on the website, they will instantly email you a coupon for 20% off your next visit!! It is not advertised, but what a cool surprise!

What fun! My family of 6 went in this morning. We were there at 6 and got right in and then we all ate for free. No coupon books though. They said they’re just doing their part to help the economy! Go Denny’s! Thank you.

Ha! what a joke. We went for this free breakfast and was told they were all out of Rain Checks, never heard of such a thing. A rain check is a rain check. Would have to think twice about going to Dennys again after such a big advertisement on TV and the internet.
We got there about noon and people were waiting everywhere so didn’t and couldn’t stand, so went and asked for the raincheck. As I said, NO rain checks, all out.

There was a line with about 50 people at our Denny’s. They said it was an hour to 2 hour wait. We decided not to wait…

We went and waited about 2 hours. I thought it was pretty cool of them. Even my 2 year old got his own Grand Slam. Our party of 5 got two free coupon books too.
