Free Maid-Rite Sandwich

I don’t think I’ve ever eaten at a Maid-Rite. I seem to recall them from the show Unwrapped or something I’ve seen on Food Network, but if you were to ask me what, I could only tell you that it wasn’t on Iron Chef.

That being said, this coupon for a free Maid-Rite Sandwich by signing up for their e-list is intriguing to me. It makes me almost want to road trip and find one within an 8 hour distance to me.

Or, just go to the store and buy a can of Manwich…

    Too bad this place is far from where I live. I grew up going to the Maid Rite in Quincy, IL when I’d visit my grandma. It was amazing! But I’m not sure that that place was a chain, so these may not be affiliated…

    I have Maid-Rites near me, the best burger and shake around! But, the coupon is only valid for the Des Moines or Urbandale locations. I’ll keep it in mind the next time I head to Des Moines.

    I remember Maid-Rite burgers in Sacramento Californication on Fifty- Seventh and H Street in the sixties. I visited the location in Iowa and was in heaven once again. Back there they call them loose meat sandwiches. mmmmm Come back to SAC!

    I grew up going to the MaidRite Restaurant in Greenville, Ohio. They are awesome, but they do not, nor never have had tomato sauce in them.
