Free Aveda Black Malva Pure Plant Shampoo

EDIT: This is no longer available.

Four weeks ago, I’d never heard of Aveda. Today they’re my favorite shampoo, thanks to all the freebies they’ve released over the past month. My only concern with this free Aveda Black Malva Pure Plant shampoo offer is that I’m not sure black Malva flowers exist. My Google Images search provided plenty of Malva pictures, but none of them seem to be black. Furthermore, are we sure flowers are the best items to be washing our hair with? Shouldn’t we be using a soap-based substance? Something seems a bit off here and I’m not talking about my meds.

What's with the sudden influx of people thinking HIF has the samples? Bizarre. Anyhow, for those that just posted 'send me the samples' and whatnot, you have to go to the website linked in the post to order your samples. The companies hand out the goods, Goob and his crew just point us towards the companies that are givin' em out. :)

please send me your free samples!

Certain plants have been used since time began to wash with. One that comes immediately to mind is Soapwort. Another is the Soap Lily. There are also some Agave that can be used as soap. The ingredient that is commonly found in many soap plants is sopanins.

please send me your free samples. Thanks a bunch !!!

Yes, indeedy, malva does come in black,- or, more like the dark, dark purple that nurseries and rose-breeders like to call black but is maybe closer to 'eggplant'. As for what the heck a malva is, it is the European name for hollyhocks, also known as Rose-of-Sharons for some varieties. Does it matter what they put in their products? All Aveda stuff makes your hair smell awesome, & that's really what counts. Enjoy.
