when I was teenage in 2000 to 2004 and I abuse by boyfriend and from 5 grade to 12 grade I got bullying and when I got bullying in high school and at the same time my boyfriend abuse me and I was 1 of those 3 teen girl who got abuse and by there boyfriend and bullying too and it was not fun at all. My boyfriend frequently criticize me, humiliate me at school,store,beach just about any wear we go and ridicule me for expressing myself and I can’t discuss with my boyfriend what is bothering me and he ignore me and put me down and when my best friends talk to me about this I would make up excused, or denied and I knew it was true and knew what going on and people I did know pick on me about my clothes,shoes,hair,makeup just about anything they want to say to me and some of my friends and one BFF (best friend forever) who like sister to me. would talk behind my back and they not my really friends that all.

I have a teenager myself and I always try to help her be aware of the good and bads of dating and guys, the rights and wrongs & how to keep herself safe. I’d love to provide this bracelet, but the site isn’t working.

On another note….
I do want to thank you Adam for ALL of your postings. I have just learned about your site recently when it was posted in the St.Petersburg Times. I have been a “penny pincher” for a while and finding great deals on peoples blogs. I find yours to be very informative with many great links!

this is a great freebie i can share with ppl and get them with the program of abused teens. my daughter was in an abusive relationship luckily he was controlling and had not got abusive yet. now shes out of that relationship for good!!!!!!!!! and this is a great program i cant express this enough. thanks adam

i agree we need to break this abusive cycle. otherwise this cycle will repeat and it needs to stop. we need to help these abused teens to realize they cant stand for this and we need to encourage them to be strong and familiarize themselves with what is going on……

Awesome freebie Adam! The fact that people will stand up and discuss this type of situation shows we are learning. Spend 1 hour printing this and distribute. Don’t forget about the local school counselors, womens shelters, nieces, nephews, local grocers’ bulletin board, libraries, summer camps….

wonderful freebie here..I have a 13 year old daughter who is now showig interest in guys now..Im so hopin by wearing these bracelets she remember all thats ben taught to her about relationships and that if something doest seem right to get out now..She plans to give a couple of the braclets to a couple of her best friend and form a pack with them that if they get into something and need help they will be there for them along with their parents…so much awareness about this issue needs to be brought into the schools also…again thanks for this offer…..a great one…..:)

this is a GREAT freebie! I’m a CASA Volunteer for the State of Louisiana and I can tell you – this is DEFINITELY a cycle that needs to be broken. Kids that grow up seeing / being in this type of environment do one of three things – 1) they decide they will NEVER be put in a situation like this or put their children in this type of situation and do everything in their power to stay out of it or 2) become victims again and again throughout their lives because its all they know or 3) become the abuser and pass it on to their kids who start the whole thing over.
