Free Breakfast at IKEA 3/20-3/22

One of the things that I find myself sometimes missing about Orlando is the IKEA. Oh sure, it only opened not long before I moved, but there was something about the Swedish awesomeness in that store that you could get lost for hours just wandering around. Heck, my computer chair is the result of one of our trips out there, as are our bedroom lamps. And a dinner or two as well.

And now, folks, with the exception of a few cities, you can walk in with this coupon and have a free breakfast from tomorrow through Sunday. What better thing to do than walk in, look at some nifty plastic kitchen accessories you never even thought about (like our plastic bag holder), sit on a few couches, marvel at the paper covered lamps, and grab some grub?

Assembly not included. :D

Random Coupons #8

Hope everyone had a good St. Patty’s day! If your wallet is a little thinner as a result, don’t fret, because I’ve found a few coupons that equal out to some dirt-cheap discounts!

Arby’s: Have you tried the new Roastburgers at Arby’s? They’re normally around $4, but use this coupon and receive a free burger with the purchase of any Pepsi soft drink. Hurry, coupon expires March 20th.

Diet Pepsi: Buy any two 12-packs of Diet Pepsi (any variety) and receive a third 12-pack for free!

Einstein Bros: I love fresh bagels, and Einstein Bros bagels are near the top of my list. Get occasional bagel, sandwich, and drink coupons via e-mail just for joining their e-club.

Dawn: Make washing the dishes a little less ‘blah’ with these coupons from Dawn. If you hate dishpan hands, I definitely recommend the Hand Renewal moisturizing detergent. If you’re easily amused (like me!), go for the Simple Pleasures soap with built-in air freshener beads. It makes a good maraca, too.

Roc: Use this coupon to save $3 on featured anti-wrinkle moisturizers from Roc skincare.

Wal-Mart: Okay, this isn’t a printable coupon, but next time you’re in the checkout line at Wal-Mart, consider picking up a copy of their All You Magazine. Each monthly issue typically features at least 20 good coupons, most of which can be used at stores other than Wal-Mart. The magazine also has plenty of handy articles and costs less than most other magazines. You can even visit their website for a sneak peek at the next issue’ features and savings!

Update: March Madness Contest 2009

I’m making a reminder post about the March Madness Contest today simply because the deadline for submissions is early tomorrow morning before the next newsletter will go out. Games start tomorrow afternoon! My productivity is about to plummet! Woo hoo!

I’m happy to say that 500 people have already signed up! Unfortunately, Yahoo only let’s 500 people in a group, so I’ve created a 2nd official March Madness group that currently has 23 people in it. If you’ve already joined the first group, do not join this second group! Scoring will be the same and we’ll just act like both of these group are one giant group.

If you want to know how the scoring works or what prizes are being given away, check out my original post. And with that, enjoy the games!

Free Glytone Travel Size Starter Kit

It seems like we’ve had a higher than usual amount of freebies die shortly after posting them this week and something tells me this free Glytone travel size starter kit isn’t going to break the streak. I don’t know why, but I just have this feeling that it’ll be dead by the end of tonight. If I’m right, let’s pretend I’m the reincarnation of Nostradamus and can see into the future. If I’m wrong, then I’m already feeling foolish about betting my entire life savings on this years March Madness Tournament. Vegas allows people to mark any losing bet as “just a practice,” right?

Five Free Mine Magazine Issues

Sorry hidden explosives enthusiasts, these five free issues of Mine magazine aren’t what you think. It’s actually a new twist on magazines, where you select up to five traditional publications (Time, Sports Illustrated, etc.) and they then somehow customize you Mine magazine issues to include articles from all five of your selections. Don’t ask me to explain it any further; I’m already confused on how they’ll decide which articles from each magazine to include.

This is almost more baffling than the time I discovered you could put cold food in a magic box and have it come out piping hot. How does that witchcraft even work!? I swear, my house is made of elven magic.

Free Redbox Rental Code

Is anybody else almost out of new movies to watch? No? Just me? Nevermind then. Today’s free Redbox rental code is GTL456, so make sure you pick up your free movie on the way home from work tonight. There was some discussion in Monday’s comments about whether these free rental codes work when you reserve movie’s ahead of time online and the general consensus was “nope.” Just a tip ;)

Free Betty Crocker Calendar

EDIT: We’re not having much luck this week with freebies staying alive for long, are we?

I might have to start trying to find all of the free calendars for 2010 starting in June and July this year. As of now, every calendar that I signed up for never came. So 2009? Well, as I said a few months ago? I had to buy a calendar.

Its a shame, though, that this free Betty Crocker recipe calendar isn’t for 2010. Or maybe if I’m lucky? It is and I’m getting a head start… until I lose it under a stack of books to read…

Free Gift Bundle from Quentin Ulrich

I don’t know who Quentin Ulrich is, but soon I might say “I Love Quentin Ulrich” too. Anyone who wants to give me free chocolate truffles (of my choice!) and a DVD of their recipes? Sounds like an awesome guy to me!

Free Laundry Powder

EDIT: Blarg, we Hiffed this one pretty quickly.

I’ll be the first to admit that the freebie pickings this week have been pretty slim. Sometimes we go through droughts for a few days, so fingers crossed that this free laundry powder is the first of many more freebies to come. Their site may be a little confusing, but all you have to do is add the product to your shopping cart and then “checkout.” They don’t ask for any billing information, but you do have to hit “next” on three or four pages before the order gets confirmed.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go pretend I know what I’m doing and finish filling out my bracket for the March Madness Contest!

Walgreens rebates for week of 3/15/09

Have you been watching those Axe shampoo commercials? I must admit – I don’t know any men who wear Axe. Maybe I will after this week, because the new Axe hair line is just one of the many products you can get for free after rebate from Walgreens.

The Axe hair line has sexy names such as “De-Glue,” “De-Poof,” “Shaggy Look” and “Anti-Dandruff.” Allegedly if you use any Axe products, hot, scantily-cladded women will shower you with lust and affection. I’m not a dude, so I don’t know if it’s worked – so, dudes out there, why not give it a try?

Axe Shampoo, Conditioner or Stylers, 2.64 or 12 oz. – FREE after rebate

Maybe I just can’t remember whether or not this Axe stuff actually works. Well, Walgreens actually is offering 45 softgels of Iceland Health Advanced Memory Formula free after rebate. It’s a $29.99 value, so this is a really hard one not to pass up. Also, it’s apparently from Iceland, the country that brought you Bjork, so you know it’s good.

Iceland Health Advanced Memory Softgels, 45 count, FREE after rebate

If the combination of the men’s fragrance and the improved memory gives you a headache, Walgreens also has a free after rebate deal on their $2.99 Headache relief quickgels.

These rebates are available by online or in-store purchase, so be sure to check ‘em out!

All these products, as well as other rebates, can be found here:
