Coupon: Free Monsters v. Aliens Movie Poster

I’ve got a heart of a child (despite one sitting in a jar of formaldehyde at home on my desk). Cartoons? I love ‘em. Not only did I grow up on Ninja Turtles, Go Bots, Captain Planet, Ghostbusters, and Inspector Gadget, but those classic cartoons are all I feel I sometimes truly know. Just don’t ask me anything about the Smurfs, because there was something up with them.

So naturally, I’m excited about Up and Monsters v. Aliens that are both coming out, and I’m exceptionally excited to see this coupon for a free Monsters v. Aliens movie poster at Office Depot. Yup, now I can have more cartoony goodness on the walls of my room.

Right next to my Lilo and Stitch bobble head on my desk…

Free Sun Crystals Sweetener

I’m awake way too early and drooling over the thought of coffee. And the more I want coffee, the more I realize that its just this whole darn daylight savings time beginning that’s throwing me for a loop. The fact that here I am at what would have been 8:30 CST, is now 9:30 CST? The fact that I lost an hour of sleep, even if I did go to sleep at what my reset clock said was 2:45, and I still got a solid 5 hours of sleep like I normally would? I don’t like it.

And it makes me want to chow down on everything sweet in sight. Sadly, I don’t have this free Sun Crystals sweetener sample yet, or I could cut down on some of the calories I’d intake. The stuff is perfect in some tea to make some southern style sweet tea.

I guess I’d better raid my pantry and find where I hid my Soy Joy bars to get that sweetness my shattered sleepless emotions crave…

Coupon: Buy One, Get One Seattle’s Best Mocha or Latte

I can’t remember the last time I was in a Borders. And yet, every time that I think of Borders, I don’t think of coffee, but I think of the band that I was in that played a show at one. Yes, played a show at a borders in their coffee shop. Talk about an interesting gig.

What would have made it more interesting is if I was hopped up on coffee and not on nerves while I was ripping away at my lead guitar parts. And for something like that, I would have needed this buy one get one free medium or large mocha or latte coupon for their Seattle’s Best cafe. And I like that there are options on this coupon for different sizes and different drinks. Because variety is the spice of my life.

As is long expiration dates! We’ve got till almost the last day of April to find ourselves some coffee!

Mystery Freebie!

I haven’t the slightest idea what this mystery freebie is going to be, but I’m excited. When was the last time we even had a mystery freebie? Last summer? Now before any of you jump the gun and say this is simply a contest, have a gander at the official rules and you’ll find this: Everyone entering will receive a prize valued at $3.00 and up at no cost. Sounds good enough to me.

I really felt odd entering my age of 26 into a “teen freeway” website though. Future images of me in my fifties, wearing a letter jacket, and talking about the good ole’ days where I was the star quarterback for the state champions flashed before my eyes. Then I remembered we didn’t win state and I didn’t letter. Actually, I wasn’t technically a football player, but I was the best darn male cheerleader out there! Unfortunately they wouldn’t even let me on that team, so I just ran out into the squad from the stands whenever I spotted an opening. Ahhh, memories.

Free Organic Lettuce Seeds

EDIT: Looks like they’re all out!

Any time I’ve ever tried to start a garden, I’ve either A) forgotten about it, B) forgotten about it, or C) What was I talking about again? That won’t stop me from trying to use Earthbound Farm’s free organic lettuce seeds to grow a mini-garden out back.

I really shouldn’t even bother though, I’m about as nourishing as the surface of Pluto. I’m pretty sure there’s a clause buried in Obama’s recent stimulus plan about me being banned from ever having children.

In Store: Free Bruster’s Ice Cream

EDIT: Seeing as how the weekend is now over, I’d assume this is dead. Did anybody go and get some free ice cream?

Last year in early March was Bruster’s Annual PJ Weekend, where you got a free scoop of ice cream if you came into the store wearing your PJs! I was curious if they were doing it again this year, but their website doesn’t have a date on it, so I did a little detective work. I called three random Bruster’s in Virginia, South Carolina, and Florida each and all nine said they were participating tomorrow, so rock on! Still, you might want to call ahead to your own local Bruster’s and make sure. (Don’t just go by your local Bruster’s website. Most, if not all of them, haven’t been updated in a few months.)

Now for my dilemma. Wear fake PJs or show up how I normally sleep: in the buff!? I really don’t feel like being arrested, so I guess I’ll just have to find some old sleep pants. The things I’m forced to do for a freebie!

Free Small Fry and Fountain Drink at Jack-in-the-Box on 3/10

Well, I guess that Jack isn’t getting any better, and that’s a good thing for us freebie lovers. To go with the tacos and fries from last month, Jack-in-the-Box has a new coupon out for free small fries and a fountain drink on 3/10.

And once again, I’m saddened by none being nearby me… Looks like we need to find a freebie that’s not localized like our Orlando one, this one, or the Bob Evans one either…

UCF: Buy One, Get One Tall Caramel Frappuchinos

Welcome Orlando readers! Thank you for catching us on WESH 2 tonight, and as an extra thanks, from this Orlando transplant and UCF Alumni, I wanted to throw a little something your way.

See, even though I’ve since moved from the area, I still happen to get the UCF Bookstore e-mails. I miss the days where I’d grab a venti soy chai latte and sit by the Reflection Pond and just play guitar for two to three hours. It was so relaxing between classes, or just on my off days…

But y’all down there? Can grab your own drinks and enjoy the fountain. And especially with this great buy one, get one free deal on the bookstore’s tall Caramel Frappuchinos. Save a little extra of that tuition money for Wack-A-Doo’s pints, grab some waffle fries at the next door Chik-Fil-A, or blow it all on some amazing Cuban food from Adita’s! Oh boy the food I miss on campus…

So have one for me, and GO KNIGHTS!

(And if you read the small print, apparently this offer might be valid at other Starbucks in college bookstores, but I’d still call ahead to your campus’s one first…)

Free Betty Crocker Warm Delights Minis

Well wouldn’t you know it, but these free Betty Crocker Warm Delights Minis are back for the third time! I received the previous two, but I’ve yet to taste one, let alone follow Shaynon’s freebie review of the product and make a mini cake with them. Why? Because my roommates keep swiping my freebies! This, of course, is about to lead to yet another massive Roommate War that I’m already gearing up for. Let’s check the list here: five dozen eggs? Check. Bag of water balloons? Double check. Now all I need is a few spare minutes to sneak into their rooms and mess with their computers and I think I’ll already be halfway to victory!
