My kids do SO LOVE shopping with me at Walgreens especially when they have coupons to get their OWN FREE Walgreens shopping bag! What teen doesn’t love that Walgreen’s designer label!

Went this morning and got my free shopping bag – had to buy gum!!!! Although the gum came with a 15% discount!!!!

Does anyone else find it ironic that Walgreens would give you this “green” Earth Day freebie only if you first wasted paper by printing the coupon? Somehow I seriously doubt the cashiers across the country bothered to recycle all those pieces of paper. The cashier at my Walgreens didn’t seem to understand the concept of the bag. Not only did she want to put all of my purchases in a plastic bag and then hand me the empty free bag alongside, but she actually got angry when (after she had only bagged one light item) I suggested that all my purchases should go into the tote bag instead to be environmental!
Oh well. Yeay Walgreens for giving out free tote bags! Happy Earth Day!
WOO HOO …ME AND MY BARGAIN- SHOPPING- WONT- BUY -ANYTHING -FULL PRICE- 12 YEAR OLD (YES SHE HAS LEARNED YOUNG) DAUGHTER WENT IN WITH OUR COUPONS AND SHE GOT HER SOME CHEETOS (SALE 2 FOR $1.00) AND I GOT ME A PACK OF GUM AND SOME FREEZE POPS. WE CAME OUT OF THAT STORE LIKE WE HAD JUST RATED THE BIGGEST FIND OF THE YEAR! THE BAGS ARE ONLY $0.99 BUT IT IS THE THRILL OF THE HUNT!!!………..THANKS HIF STAFF FOR PUTTING A LITTLE ZING INTO MY THRIFT HUNTING!
Yay Walgreens, wish I bought only gum. Bought some smelly buttermints yuckkk, Walgreens brand. The bag is pretty thin but I can accessorize it cause I do look good in green. Happy Earth Day,lol!

Hey Shavon just a little FYI these are re-usable store bags not tote bags. That is why they are thin. Of course they can be used for a variety of things. I like to leave these in the back of my SUV so I can put things (like kids gear) and carry it into the house to put away instead of making several trips to the car. But of course I also use my GO GREEN FOR OLIVES re-usable bag (Thanks Once again HIF for the freebie link) for groceries and such!
My Walgreens (in PA) didn’t ever get any tote bags in so, they gave out one of their water bottles filled with a trial sized facial tissue, a trial sized lotion, a 4 pk. of crayons and one of those 7 day pill keepers!! It was pretty cute although I’m not sure how all of the items relate to each other?? But, while I was in there I saw a bottle of Sunsilk Conditioner marked down to $1.09. I happened to have a $1.00 off coupon coupled with my 15% off coupon-I PAID NOTHING for this cute little water bottle filled with goodies and a nice brand name hair conditioner! ‘YA GOTTA LOVE IT!!!!! Do you guys know that Walgreens marks things down EVERYDAY in their stores and if you’re there pretty often like I am developing my digital prints and picking up prescriptions take a sec to look around cause you can really find some awesome deals-seriously-especially if you have a coupon!!
