Free Quaker Rice Snacks

It seems that some freebies never die. While Goob and some of the others around here just wish that the Soy Joy ones would, there’s ones like this free Quaker Rice Snacks that just keep coming back with new links for new ways to sign up. Now, I don’t know if its still the same Start Sampling link in the end (as it really appears to be) but seeing they told me my sample would be on its way and my information was already saved for easy submission? I lost no time in just trying…

Free Stamp Collectors Catalog

When I was younger with all of the many geeky things I did, I also collected stamps too. My grandmother would send me envelopes upon envelopes full of stamps, and little childish me didn’t care about the stamps inside but about the new colorful ones outside. I guess if I had a free Kenmore stamp collectors catalog I might have had a reason to take care of the ones inside instead of peeling the ones from the envelope. Oops?

Free John Deere Hat

Looks like this one is as dead as the fox of my new hat…

I have way way too many hats. Why, even though I’ve seen a few new ones that I really want, I just got a new fox hat right from China that I can’t even wear because the weather just warmed up! Of course, I could have brought that one to Wisconsin when my wife and I were there last weekend, but I didn’t think of that.

Then again, I do live in the midwest, and that means that this free John Deere hat is fashionable with whatever I wear…

Site News

I bought a dedicated server for HIF this week and will be transferring the site / tweaking the settings on it all weekend long, so apologies in advance for any kinks you may experience. If you’re experiencing any significant problems, however, feel free to contact me so that I can look into it.

The good news is that with the new server, the site should experience fewer downtimes and load a bit faster. So…woohoo!

Free GoodNites Sleep Pants

I’m no pet whisperer, but it looks like the dog in this free GoodNites sleep pants ad just realized what’s going on. “Oh, so I get to sleep with my master tonight? Awesome! Wait, what is he wearing? It keeps him from doing what? You know, on second thought, I’d rather sleep in my kennel.”

Instore: H&R Block Tax Review

H&R Block is offering a free Second Look Review of either your current-year tax return (filed or unfiled) or one of your returns from 07, 06, or 05. Usually this costs $29, so it’s a pretty good deal, especially considering that you can plan ahead and reserve an appointment at your local office. The offer is valid from today, April 3, through Sunday, April 5.

I have a feeling I should probably get my taxes looked at, especially since so many people are telling me that I shouldn’t have claimed the end of Battlestar Galactica as a hardship.

Free Halle Berry Perfume

I’ve always wondered about celebrities that release their own brand of perfumes and colognes, such as this free Halle Berry perfume. Do they have to forever wear their own product? What if they one day start to hate the smell of it? Or what if Jessica Simpson decided to splash on a little of Britney Spears’ perfume before dressing in an outfit designed by Elizabeth Hurley? Is that like cheating on her own line?

See folks, that’s what I’m here for: to ask the hard questions. I’m waiting on your call, New York Times.

Free Small Coffee from Seattle’s Best Cafes on Monday, April 6th

Wow does it feel like a while since I’ve been around. Honestly, though, because of how much coffee I’ve been drinking in the past three weeks? The time just hasn’t stopped. If you thought that I was a little whacked out and crazy with some of my posts before? Wait till you see me decaffeinated.

And luckily there’s a free small coffee from Seattle’s Best Cafes (Borders cafes and company stores in Western Washington) on Monday, April 6th as part of their 39th anniversary celebration. What, I didn’t link the free part but the anniversary celebration part? Oh yeah, that’s right, because all throughout April they have other small offers going on for buying one item, getting another free or dirt cheap.

That always sounds good to me!

Free Tomato Seeds

EDIT: I just realized that Adam posted this a few weeks back. My bad! I know today was kind of crummy freebie-wise, but I’ve got a post in the works for later tonight that should make up for it!

Campbell’s soup is giving away free tomato seeds to anybody who has purchased some condensed soup recently. All you have to do is type in the code on the bottom of the can and they’ll send you the seeds. If you don’t have any Campbell’s lying around, try the codes below as they might work. I found the site to be a tad glitchy – I had to type in my code two or three times before it was finally accepted.

  • Code1: XD Code2: 01 Type: Tomato
  • Code1: CU Code2: 01 Type: Tomato
  • Code1: CT Code2: 26 Type: Cream of Mushroom
  • Code1: P5 Code2: 03 Type: Cream of Chicken

If none of the codes above work, you might want to pick up a can the next time you’re at the store and have a look at the code since this offer is valid for a few more months :D Also, note that the codes are case sensitive. These darn seeds better be worth it!
