Instore: Free Pretzel

Sunday, April 26 is National Pretzel Day and to celebrate, Pretzel Maker and Pretzeltime are giving away free soft pretzels tomorrow. I must admit, their page announcing this freebie is quite thorough when it comes to learning about pretzels and their history. I didn’t even realize there were that many websites and articles devoted to the subject.

Here’s a store locator to help find your nearest freebie source.

Free Dove Go Fresh Deodorant

EDIT: Offer is down for now.

I’ve yet to learn how to directly link to some StartSampling offers, like this free Dove Go Fresh deodorant. I’ve got a buddy who works at NASA programming rockets headed to Mars and when I asked him, all he could offer was a resigned “uh-uh” with an added shoulder shrug. My confidence in ever traveling to space significantly dropped after that conversation.

Here’s the actual link – just copy and paste it into your browser. https://secure.startsampling.com/sm/100660/

Free NIVEA Body Wash

EDIT 3: It’s gone again.
EDIT 2: It’s back!
EDIT: They no longer have any samples. Time to get cracking on those homemade batches!

According to my research, which solely involved looking at the advertisement, this free NIVEA Touch of Happiness Body Wash is made of oranges, flowers, rain water, and bamboo. So there ya have it – the secret recipe for your own homemade body wash!

Free MLB Baseball Tickets

It’s been almost three weeks since the start of the professional baseball season (and since I wrote about all of the free MLB Kids Clubs offers) and there’s one general consensus: nobody can afford tickets anymore! While this might stink for the owners, it’s perfect for us, as the Texas Rangers and Baltimore Orioles are now offering free tickets. If you’re a fan of either team, all you have to do is vote for the team as your “favorite” or “other favorite” club at least 25 times between April 22 and July 2. I think you can make one vote per day, so if you start now you could have it done by the end of May.

The Rangers are giving away two free tickets while the Orioles are only giving away one. I’ll be sure to keep my eyes peeled for any other team offering a similar promotion. Be sure to read the respective terms and conditions on the team sites for more info.

Free L’Oréal RevitaLift Wrinkle Cream

I’ve never understood how products like this free L’Oréal RevitaLift Wrinkle Cream even work. If a goopy cream is so good at smoothing out wrinkles, then why do we iron our clothes? Exactly. That’s why I’m in the middle of developing an iron for people’s faces. I haven’t quite perfected the technology, as all of my test subjects are currently in the Intensive Care Burn Unit. But you can’t argue with the results I’ve gotten – not a single one of them has their original wrinkles anymore!

You’ll need to register for a free account on their site to get this, but if you’ve signed up for any of the previous L’Oréal freebies we’ve posted, then chances are you can log-in with the account you created then.

Free Schick Quattro Titanium Trimmer

EDIT: It appears that they’re removed this freebie for the time being.

I hope millions of guys use this free Schick Quattro Titanium trimmer to try and trim their beards to look like Wolverine. We need more mutton chops in today’s society. I’ve been saying for years, “all that’s missing from turning this place into a Utopia are a few million mutton chops.” I’ve also been saying that aliens inhabit my bathroom and that green beans are government sanctioned killing machines.

My family keeps trying to have me committed, but don’t you worry, they can’t silence this truth machine!

Free Delices de Cartier Perfume

EDIT: We Hiffed it!

I certainly hope this free Delices de Cartier perfume is in fact perfume. I don’t speak French, so I’m just going to have to take them at face value here. In fact, the title bar of the site calls this “parfum.” That actually sounds like a disease or maybe a small woodland creature. In other words, beware opening up your mailbox in six to eight weeks. Who knows what will be in there.

Deal: Free Kodak Photo Card

I’m quite the typical guy in that I forget any important date that isn’t related to baseball, but freebies are wonderful for saving my hide. Case in point, this Kodak photo card offer reminded me that Mother’s Day is May 10. I could have sworn it was in June. No wait, I’m thinking of Flag Day. Well then wait, when’s Monkey Day?

Oh, hey there Mom! Let’s pretend you didn’t read this post, okay?

You have to pay shipping in order to get this, but it’s 0.99 – at least it was for me.

Free Notepad & Pen

EDIT: This is no longer working!

I came home from work last night exhausted like most nights and when I peeled off my black dress shirt, my wife gasped. “Are you alright?” I looked down and there was a huge red stain on my shirt about the size of a quarter! Needless to say, after panicking for a minute, I remembered: I carry a red pen on me.

Today, however, I think I’ll leave that pen at home and hope that this free notepad and pen come fairly soon. I can’t be looking like I cut myself everyday, now…

Free Aveeno Nourish+ Shampoo

This is the third free Aveeno Nourish+ shampoo offer to pop up in the last three weeks. I’m not sure which road to take here. On the one hand I could make the “how malnourished is America’s hair?” joke. On the other hand I could ask Aveeno if they realize they need to try and sell some of the product instead of just giving it all away. Ugh, this is too hard of a decision, I’m just gonna go take a nap.

I honestly have no idea what people are talking about when they say running this site is easy.
