I just realized this coupon collection is both wallet-friendly and waist-friendly! Maybe my subconscious is telling me to lay off the pizza. Hey, I can’t help it that I had a lot of awesome pizza coupons that I couldn’t let go to waste. (Just so you know, they were local coupons…I wasn’t holding out on you!) If the KFC chicken is grilled, my name is Donald Duck. They may have put it on a panini press AFTER they fried it, but I don’t think that counts as grilled.

The KFC grilled chicken was greasy, at best. Very small pieces too; I think they must have cracked the egg to get the baby chick out! Not something I would pay for.

It’s not grilled. It’s deep-fried and then they put it under a press to get the grill marks.

I thought it was terrible myself. We got an 8-piece meal of drumsticks and thighs, and we got 2 extra crispy thighs and 6 grilled wings. We asked for half and half (grilled and extra crispy) and we only got 2 fried thighs.

The free give away was a disaster. Stores ran out of chicken and some stores actually closed down. After an 8 minute wait for our order of two free pieces of grilled chicken and some fried chicken, we were told that they had run out of fried chicken. We asked for our money back and they did give us two pieces of grilled breast that were large since we were so annoyed. Other people were getting small thighs and drumsticks. And, I agree. If that’s grilled I’m Twiggy. I’m betting there is a lot of fat in that “grilled” chicken.

I tried to print the Starbucks one…but it said the sever wasn’t working. No big deal, but I did have to download that coupon printer thing. ^^;

We went to get our “grilled chicken” meal today.. we ordered 3, with our 3 coupons, and nothing else, they screwed up our order, and ended up giving us 3 extra free sides…
I was thrilled with that freebie!
