HIF Contest: Two Free $25 Giftcards

The freebies have been a little (Goob’s mind: define little!) slow lately and thus I thought I’d kick things off by giving away two $25 giftcards to two random Hiffers. All you have to do is take an 11 question survey about HIF to be entered! And heck, two of the 11 questions are your name and e-mail.

As for what the gift cards will be for, each winner will have his/her choice between a $25 GC to Amazon, eBay, or direct Paypal deposit. I’m flexible (and amazingly awesome?) like that. In fact, depending on how many people participate in this (hint, hint), I might make this a monthly thing.

So go take the survey and be entered to win a $25 gift card! The survey ends at midnight PST on June 2 and the winners will be chosen by Random.org.

(FYI: If you’re having trouble getting the survey to work, let me know here in the comments. I’m using the best “free” program I could find, but if I get a million and a half complaints, I’ll shell out a few hundred bucks for a professional service.)

EDIT: For some reason, #6 is not allowing people to input any answers other than the ones I selected and I can’t seem to fix it. Other than that, the survey is going strong. Reading through the answers so far has been a bit enlightening!

    Again Question 6 did not work for me either. I tried to pick other and put the comment “I would like to see them posted as soon as you find them AND the day before”, but it would not let me finish.

    I tried to put an “other” comment, but it came up as an error. I was going to say, post the freebie as soon as you learn about it, then follow up the day it becomes effective

    I couldn’t get the question on what time I wanted the newsletter sent to accept either “other” or “huh, what newsletter”, it would come up red unless I put in a time.

    i was wondering why does the girftcard have to be amazon or ebay? cant it be target or walmart or starbuck. I see it more useful and easier to use but it’s jsut a suggestion so dont hate

    same issue with two questions where I tried to write in other answers (on the last page of the survey). It didn’t tell me what was wrong with my answers, maybe too long? I checked something else, but left my written answers in.

    Only trouble I had was #6, as others mentioned. I wanted to put “two or three days in advance” in the “other” selection, but it didn’t like that, so I ended up picking the day before option. I just thought I’d add, I like advance notice, but too far ahead and I forget all about it.

    I had a problem with the time preferred to get the newsletter. When I checked “Other” and wrote my preferred time, it didn’t like it, said it was an error. So I was forced to check one of the boxes instead.

    No biggie. Just letting you know.

    I did the survey but I am not sure if it went thru or not. when I hit finished it took me to the page 2 and I checked it over and hit finished again and it sent me back to the same page again, so either it will not be done or maybe done several times as i hit finished a couple more times with the same result.

    I just finished the survey and forgot to say that it would be nice if the links for the freebies opened up a new window. Not for #84′s reason, but to be able to go to another website while that one is loading. Sometimes it takes forever to get through a webpage’s introduction.

    If you right click on the links, you can then select “open in new tab”. You can also change your browser settings to open links in new windows instead of “reusing” pages.

    Hi-really tried to do the survey but when I finished the first page and tried to get to 2nd page – it just kept going back to the first page- like a never ending circle of computer weirdness!     Hey! Just want to say your site is awsome! I used to do the coupon and free sample stuff (and rebates) years ago ( is ago even a word?) , and I’m totally hooked on HIF now. One snag tho’. I tried to do your survey for the gift card at around 6:30 a.m. M.D.T. this morning, and it said your survey already ended. It’s not midnight June 2nd in our time zone for a lot of hours yet. Just wondering what’s up with that…No problem, it isn’t gonna stop me from telling everybody I know about HIF-you do an amazing job for being hungry, bored, somtimes forgetful, etc… , etc….
