Instore: Free Donut @ Krispy Kreme AND Dunkin Donuts (06/05)
This Friday, June 5th, is National Donut Day and to celebrate, both Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts are giving away free donuts to each of their customers. As the KK press release says, you don’t have to do anything in order to get a free donut. However, DD is only giving away a donut with the purchase of any drink.
As luck would have it, I’ll be on a mini-road trip this Friday and thus will probably eat around a gazillion donuts. It sure was nice fitting into these shorts while it lasted!

On Dunkin Donuts website, it says that you have to buy a beverage to get a free donut….

I patronize DD enough, as I’m sure many people do. I don’t consider it free if I have to make an additional purchase.
I do understand that they’d have people coming in for a free donut who never stepped inside a DD and probably never would in the future but how many can that be?

The grumpy guy at my KK on Atlantic Blvd in Jax – insisted it was only after 5 pm. When I got home and checked their site – the dude was lying! For a free donut, for donut’s sake!!
