1000 Free Burt’s Bees Lip Balm / day
I’ve had no less than four dozen Hiffers send in this offer to me, so there’s no excuse as to why it’s taken me so long to write about Burt’s Bees free lip balm giveaway. Starting at a random time between 9am-noon EST from now until June 20, they’ll give away 1,000 free products each day.
Actually, the randomness of it all kept me from posting this earlier, but then today I realized that Burt’s Bees is the only lip balm that I use anymore. Seriously, it’s awesome. I go with the honeycomb version, but that usually doesn’t last too long as my dogs always sniff it out and eat it. I guess on the bright side they’ll never have chapped lips? On the down side, they’re bad girls! Get in your kennels!

I tried everyday for almost a week before I finally got one. I even filled out the application one time and by the time I pushed send they said they were all gone. talk about getting the shaft! I was so irritated. I finally got one yesterday and it didn’t start till 11 something. They seem to be starting on weird times like 9:06 or 10:51 not on even numbers I mean. Good luck!
I got it the second day. I spent all morning at work just refreshing the screen and finally got in! (You’re welcome to my boss). It was crazy, and I tried to sign up for my mom like a second after I got on and it was already over. You gotta be quick for this one

I was one of the heffers I mean hiffers lol that submitted this to you Goob! I already ordered mine,i got in 2 days in a row like 5 days ago.I can sorta understand why you didn’t post it sooner because it’s not really a FUN way to get a freebie,you literally have to sit there and refresh every single min.and since it is random you can be sitting there hitting refresh for 2 hrs. a day! I spent a total of 3 hrs. over 3 days on it lol but I did manage to get 5 of them(for myself and family)but I feel more like I earned it rather than it being FREE!
it took me almost a week before i finally nailed this one last week man it was aggravating but seeing i love burts it was well worth the aggravation

this seems like to much work. their lip balms are good, but I think it just may be easier to go buy one. I already feel like the internet takes up to much of my time.
Oh Michelle I totally agree w/you and if I had not gotten in when I did I would have given up! burts bees says on that giveaway page that “that’s what makes it fun” lol,yeah really it was tons of fun!

Getting freebies can be fun and/or addicting for some people. Same thing with coupons, rebates, sales. That’s why even wealthy people are into this scene. My mom has money now, but she still looks for the cheapest price on everything.

My dogs ate my Burt’s Bees chapstick last week. Very annoyed. Not only that, but I threw the rest in the garbage and they have found it two more times!
Geez! That stuff goes fast! I checked 5 minutes ago and it hadn’t started. Then I just went filled out the form and they were already gone! That’s insane!! LOL Oh well, I’ll try again tomorrow!
This is so frustrating. I sat here and kept hitting refresh until the order form finally came up, then I typed in my information (at over 100wpm!), got nothing but a blank screen. I immediately went back and did it again and it told me I was too late. This entire giveaway lasted a minute or less!!!! I think I’ll go buy me a blistik or chapstick just because I’m angry at Burt!!!

OK…. I was “monitoring” the Burt’s Bee website… it popped up that the giveaway was open… I quickly entered my info and hit submit…
It came back that the 1000 was already gone !!!! What is this???

This one is ridiculous. Try the Mars free candy bar offer, they give away 250,000 every Friday and it lasts for several hours!
This is impossible! I left the computer for literally 2 mins and the samples were all gone for the day! I give up!
Hey….I clicked and it said that it had not started, then I clicked and then it said that they were already given away. I think this is a scam. What gives? I am so frustrated, it took away my work time just refreshing the darn website just to give me a message that they are gone. ?
I had been refreshing this site all morning, well finally after 11:00 it gave me the option to put my information in and when i was finished it said one will be shipped to me, i hurried up and told a friend to go to it and they were gone already, so they do go VERY quickly
I tried it one last time today just for the heck of it. I kept hitting refresh and left the computer for literally one minute, came back, and they were all gone!
Linda’s right: the Mars candy bar site is way better and at least I know the coupons come in the mail.

I did sign up 5 times of course I was gonna take advantage of it while it was up!Instead of going back every day to keep trying,the first day I sat on the refresh button and then got distracted for a min.and they were all gone! But the 2nd and 3rd day I stayed glued to the puter lol.The thing is you can’t do it half-a**ed every day(not suggesting any one is) but instead stay vigilant for one day or two max. and you will get one.And that literally means no pee breaks,no blinking etc… lol.Good luck and I hope every one gets one!
I just picked up two 3-packs of this lip balm at Wal-mart at a price of 2 for $5.00! Those 6 lip balms should last me at least 2 years!

I clicked refresh at 11:35 EST and typed in all of my info. when i clicked submit, it said the 1000 was already gone. It was still 11:35! I type really fast, too. It’s kind of a ripoff. I sat at the computer for the whole 3 hours and clicked refresh every minute, then didn’t even get one!

I’m with the others that this is too much work. I had the computer next to me open and refreshed about every 30 seconds. My laptop was starting to get overheat from sitting there open. Form finally came up, I filled it in as fast as I could and was told sorry they are already gone. Three hours of my time is worth more than $3. I figured that being Sunday I would have the best chance.
I think it should be limited to one per mailing address, too.

yeah after I signed up me I went back to sign up for my mom & aunt (neither have computers) and they were all out.
What a crock. I was on here and it said it had not started, I hit the refresh button (literally right after, what was it, 5 seconds max?) and it said they are all gone. Like others have said, not worth the trouble.
I think this giveaway is total crap! I’ve tried for a week to get the lip balm and no luck. I’ve kept hitting refresh thinking for sure I’d get one. The webpage said that the giveaway hadn’t started. I hit refresh almost immediately after that and it said they were all out! I think it’s bogus!
I had been trying on and off for the last few days. But today I sat at the computer and kept hitting Refresh every couple of minutes. From one Refresh to the next, less than a 2 minutes, it went from Not up yet to Gone. That’s crazy. I agree with the person who bought 6 Burt’s Bees lip balm for $5, my time is worth more than getting one lip balm for free. All this has done is get me upset with Burt’s Bees and I really like their products.
Yeah I have to agree with the last few people to post about this. I also tried this morning and it was gone within seconds. It is really not worth spending 3 hours each day trying to get a free chapstick. It would be much different if it were something worth more than $3.

I do not think that anyone is mad at Goob!So much as they are frustrated w/burt’s bees because even though I did get through it is still a pretty lousy way to go about doing a giveaway!Instead of the giveaway being easier to get as time went by(as I thought it would)it has actually become harder because word has spread

I got another one today. so far, one sent to me, one sent to my mom. Now I just need to get one sent to my aunt and I’m golden. I have been lucking out. I sleep until at least 10 sometimes later. So the times I randomly get up I only end up sitting here for like a half hour and in that time I’m browsing my daily sites in between refreshes. I just will ‘believe it when I see it’ I’m convinced they are going to come melted in this scorching heat or not come at all.
