Free REI Seven Function Kids Binoculars
When I was growing up, a pair of binoculars was equivalent to two toilet paper tubes. It was free, and I could make one almost every week! And if those were out, well, I’d cut a paper towel roll in half! Genius!
But now, kids have it easy. With the internets, all they have to do is click to get a free REI seven function kids binoculars. Man, if only there were internets when I was younger… I wouldn’t have had to unroll so much toilet paper!

Wow! Cool giveaway from REI. Pretty funny comment about “the internets”. Gee….don’t we all miss that guy?
Please note – these binoculars are for the children that have participated in REI’s Renew program. This teaches them stewardship of the land. When they have worked to complete their activity, they can register for their prizes, ie. binoculars. I don’t think these are to give away to the general public.
Thanks for the imformation K. Dellinger!
K. Dellinger – While I agree with you on that, there are plenty of mothers on this site who would appreciate a freebie like this for their children (which is why I emphasized my youth when I posted this one and called it “kids binoculars”) for the summer months and different activities while they’re out of school. As we always say: if you don’t need it, no reason to request it.
My daughter is an avid bird watcher and I thought these would be awesome for her! I hope I didn’t cross the line by requesting them since she’s not a member of that site?? Well, if I did wrong, I apologize, but she will LOVE them!
I saw the ad for this program at the REI store. It’s a free program from what I gathered while reading it in the store. You could have your child go through the program and then sign up for it, if you like. sounds like a great way for kids to get motivated to see the outdoors!
OMG, those things are hilarious looking. I’ve never seen binoc’s that look like that..that’s fancy, my friend!
As Kelly said, it would be great if you could sign up your kid(s) for the program – they would learn something and then you wouldn’t need to feel bad to request the freebie. My kids had binoculars like that when they were little and the really had a lot of fun with them.
This is fabulous. Every Friday we get 3 or 4 of the grandkids (aged 5 to 7) and we try to think of a different adventure every time. Went to the Ohio river where they saw a red-winged black bird, walk in the woods, etc. This freebie will reward them and give us more ideas of things to do. Thanks a million. Grammie in Indiana.
So, you’re the one who’s been taking the paper towel tubes. I was saving those to make a telescope.
Did anyone ever recieve these?????????????????????????????
OOPS RECEIVE……………….
