Free Trivet

First, it was a “coffee tumbler” that people questioned me on. Now, I’m sure its this “free coffee trivet” that I’m sure will turn some eyes. To me, “trivet” sounds like we’re talking about three veterinarians. Good thing I didn’t write the dictionary…

Signed up for the foolish thing way back when and to this day have not received it along with other items that should have arrived by now! Beginning to think most of these are NO GOOD FREEBIES!!!

HAS ANYONE ACTUALLY RECEIVED ONE? OR IS THIS A NO GOOD FREEBIE?

Thanks Goob...I dig the cork trivet & hope they deliver :) I'm old or should I say "aged" so, I actually own several trivets -- they were a real hot item in the 70s!

Sara, yeah, I found that a bit odd. We were on the fence with this freebie but decided to post it since that was the only question mark we could find regarding it.

Adam - think it's strange that after filling in the form the page went directly to a freebie page??

well signed up for it dont realy know what it is, but i will put it in my weird freebie drawer, yes i have freebie drawers lol

What a delightful example of a trivet. It looks liked it was made from wine corks. I wonder if the winw was aged?

GOOD question i want to know too?????????

soo, as with all the other freebie offers, do they send you only one chunk of a trivet, and then you have to order about a dozen samples, then some glue or tape from associatedbag, and THEN you have a trivet? or do they send you one big enough for an espresso cup?

Kelli, thanks for that info. It also explains why they called visitors "aged visitors." This should probably be reserved for people who actually know what RELEIF means and have benefited from their help.

Well that does make me feel better, Kelli... I was pretty hurt about the whole thing ;) LOL

RELEIF stands for Rediff Eagan Life Extension International Foundation. It's an acronym. I only know that because the man who started the website is very famous in my career field. In the medical aging field, the website is very well known and well respected. Just a tidbit of information I thought you might like to have.

Wow, I heard the word "trivet" used for the first time in my life last night and then this morning there's a freebie for one! Nice.

So, first they call me old, then they spell relief wrong! That website is just all kinds of offensive ;) LOL

Hmmm okay so my 40th birthday is a few weeks away and this "aged visitor" didn't make it feel any better!!! LOL

Hmmmm...should I take offense that it's calling me an "aged visitor?" LOL!

How do you spell relief? With the I and the E reversed!

I am not aged I am abundant in years

iwqnt to see what it looks like

yup... basically a coaster :-)

... so it's essentially a coaster? Why must people use confusing words. (:

A Trivet is basically a thing you place hot containers on so you don't damage your table or counters.
