Free Great Value Cereal Bar

Since my wife left for her summer internship, I’ve been working on cleaning out the fridge and cabinet before going out for more groceries. When I ran out of ice cream? I started putting yogurt cups in the freezer. When I ran out of milk? I started pouring Slim Fast shakes over my cereal. And now that I’ve run out of cereal? I only hope that this free Great Value cereal bar comes to me fast!
Yogurt in the freezer is actually good…. but don’t leave it in too long, it loses the right consistency!

Wow. This is the FIRST store brand freebie I’ve ever seen.
Well.. advertised by a supermarket, and not a health/beauty store, or food.
Leave it to Wal-Mart to start sending out free samples of a store brand. I don’t like W-M, anf don’t shop there, but they do have the BEST free samples!
Wal-Mart’s store brands are unbelievably good. They’ve won several taste tests over national brands. I normally don’t buy store brands because most seem to be the screw ups or cruddy quality but after reading about the taste tests, I tried them and they were good. Their Great Value french fries are even good and every store brand I’ve ever bought before were nothing but the tips of the fries and nasty… Great Value fries are BETTER than Ore-Ida.
lol adam your so funny, but it will take 4 weeks at least, poor guy, what will you do in the mean time, see why men need us wives, to keep everything stocked up.
I was pretty surprised to see a store-brand freebie being given away too. Maybe this is a sign of more freebies on the horizon?
That was my thought too, Goob (and everyone else). I was a bit surprised that they were giving out their brand as a freebie, but in these economic times, generic brands are thriving, so it would make only sense to market it another way…
