Free Dog’s Life Magazine

I posted this free Dog’s Life magazine offer back on July 9th, but I wanted to post it once more to mention that it comes with coupons! I received my issue in the mail today and in the back are the following coupons, all of which don’t expire until 6/11/10:

  • But one 10 oz. package of Purina Beneful brand dog food Prepared Meals and get one free, up to $2.39 value.
  • Save $2.00 on one bag of Purina Beneful brand dog food, any size / variety.
  • Save $1.00 on one package of Purina Beneful Snackin Slices brand dog snacks, any size.

Three guesses as to who sponsors the magazine.

Free Cheating With Chocolate

Free Cheating with Chocolate Samples

EDIT: We crashed their site. Hopefully it’s back up shortly.
EDIT 2: Wow, their site still isn’t back up. You know you’re in bad shape when your company’s IT guy is worse than me. Looks like this might be dead for good.

Soy Crisps is giving away free Cheating with Chocolate samples, but their site seems to be crawling right now. It took a minute to load the page, but by then I’d grown bored and opened up three new pages. When I finally got back to Soy Crisps’ site, I had no idea what the freebie was for. Long story short, my attention span is…

Be right back, I smell cupcakes!

Free $10 in Schwan’s Food on 8/1

If you’re one of the first 500,000 people to participate in this offer on August 1, you can get $10 in free Schwan’s food. Unfortunately, you don’t qualify if you’ve made a purchase with Schwan in the past 14 weeks, which is a moronic stipulation but I digress. I looked around on the site and there are plenty of items under $10, so depending on the shipping cost, they could very well be free.

Coupon: Free Mars Chocolate Bar

It’s Friday, so you know what that means – free asparagus! Wait, that doesn’t sound right…Free carrots? No, that’s not it either. Ah, here we go, a coupon for a free Mars Chocolate Bar!

Free Fitness DVD

Larry Scott must be famous if he has his picture with Arnold. Needless to say, I still haven’t heard of the dude, but if he has a free exercise DVD for your potbelly? Sure, I’ll sign up for it. I can use it as a coaster for my beer…

Free eBook Reader and 6 eBooks

I’ve added an eBook to my list of “wants” for this holiday season. The sad truth is? I just don’t really read hardly as much as I could/should. Why, while I request all of these free books, I just don’t ever get around to reading them, and I don’t know which book to bring with me whenever I head out.

Enter this free eBook reader that Barnes and Noble has. It has 6 classic eBooks for free, so its a good start, I guess. It’ll give me 6 more options to ignore reading at my choice. Sure, I know that there’s also books to buy there, but look past that… its all about the free!

Free $30 Coupon Booklet

This free $30 coupon booklet is back for, what, the 7th time in the past two years? I think I’ve gotten it four times and it just so happens that I’ve only cleaned my apartment four times. Is it coincidence that I only clean my place whenever I get a ton of coupons for cleaning products? I’ll let you be the judge.

Some people are saying there’s a free Cascade Crystal Clear Rinse Agent coupon in it this time around, but I can’t confirm nor deny that. Other things I can’t confirm nor deny are the existence of aliens or the fact that I’m extremely hung over right now.

IS: Two Free Jack in the Box Tacos on 8/4

After spotting this coupon for two free Jack in the Box tacos on August 4, I realized that Jack in the Box has quietly put together a nice string of freebies this year. Heck, most of their freebies don’t force you to even make a qualifying purchase!

I think I should make some bogus Freebie Company of the Year award to see if Jack in the Box and Arby’s will try to out compete one another for it. It’ll start with free burgers and by Christmas one of them will be giving away free franchises.

Free Discount Drug Card

Okay, so I’m confused here. I’ve had people send in this free Discount Drug Card offer for weeks now and I still don’t get how it works.

The website specifically says it’s a discount card to help people without health insurance. I guess I don’t understand how the makers of this drug card turn a profit, but I thought I’d post this and ask my fellow Hiffers if they have any experience with things like these. Do they actually work? I was able to print out my card in under a minute without giving out any info beyond my name, but I’ve never tried using it, hence the source of my confusion.

I called the toll free help number on the card and ended up having a chat with a somewhat helpful CSR. I asked who provided the service and he mentioned that the parent company is essentially a mail order pharmacy that works with insurance companies and thus are able to offer the discounts through their sheer size. He said average savings are around 20% and that most major pharmacies will accept the card.

I then wanted an assurance that this doesn’t charge you in any way. He said that the program provided by the parent company was free, but that some middle-men sites take the program and then sneakily ask for an enrollment fee, which the middle-men sites then keep. He said as long as you find a site that doesn’t ask for a credit card number in exchange for printing the card (like the one I linked to), then you shouldn’t pay a cent.

I don’t know, I’m just throwing this out there for anybody who might find it helpful. The CSR emphasized that this card isn’t meant to replace health insurance but instead help those without it. If any of you fall into that category, hopefully this will help you save a little money! And again, if you have experience with these, please share in the comments.

Free Nivea Touch of Sparkle Body Wash

EDIT: Wow, that didn’t even last for 30 minutes.

The free Nivea Touch of Sparkle body wash offer from earlier this month is back for another round and…wait. Are there diamonds circling the bottle in the ad? Why yes, yes there are.

Folks, why are you still reading this?! There are diamonds in this freebie! I don’t even plan on trying to count or value mine. I’ll let the bank worry about that when I go to make a deposit.

*Goob glances at clock, notices he got this published with 9 minutes to spare before the newsletter went out, gives himself a high five.*

Free Microflex Gloves (Part 2)

We rejoin our friendly freebie Superheroes at their local pizza joint…

Goobman: Boy Adam, what have I told you about cleaning up around the Freebie Lair?
Boy Adam: I can’t remember, Goobman? Isn’t that why we have our Pink Ladies around?
SuperShaynon: super kicks Boy Adam under the table Hey now!
The Pink Frog: Boy Adam, are you already forgetting the free Microflex gloves you found yesterday?
Goobman: Yes, Boy Adam, and what about the other offer for free Microflex gloves that we found?
Boy Adam: wincing in pain Jeepers! I’ll be cleaning for a long time with all of these free gloves!
Goobman: Of course, Boy Adam, and you’ll be paying the bill today too because I left my wallet in my other spandex suit!
Boy Adam: Golly!

We’ll be back to our superheroes with a clean lair in our next installment of their quest!

New Coupons, Free Milk, & Free Toothpaste?

Free Chocolate Milk Coupon

Coupons.com updated their coupon list recently and some people in Missouri & Kentucky are reporting that they’re able to print out a coupon for free chocolate milk! (seen above) Granted, it’s only a half gallon, however reports are that there’s also a coupon available for a free gallon of milk when you spend $100 on groceries. If you plan your shopping trip accordingly and make sure you spend enough, you can get a ton of milk for free! I don’t live in St. Louis, but, ah… my “buddy” lives in 63114 and “he” told me that the coupons say “GOOD ONLY IN USA” sans Alaska and Hawaii. So…yeah.

Also, there’s a coupon available for people who really like the numbers 8, 5, 0, 3, and 1 (in that order, of course) for a free Colgate Toothpaste and Toothbrush at Walmart. The coupon is technically for $3 off and it has a Walgreens logo on it, but the fine print says it can be used at any store which accepts coupons and Walmart has both of these items priced around $3.

Anybody else see some great deals in the new Coupons.com selection? Maybe your region has some fantastic coupons that I didn’t manage to spot. If so, share away in the comments!

More Printable Coupons

After printing the Lysol coupons I wrote about earlier this week, I forgot to mention that I found a link at the bottom of the site which took me to more Home Solutions printable coupons. They have coupons for products like Resolve, Air Wick, d-Con, Old English, Spray ‘N Wash, Woolite, French’s condiments, and more.

If the above link doesn’t work, you’ll have to access the page like I did. Go print out at least one Lysol coupon and then you’ll be shown a “Discover More” option that will take you to the additional coupons. I hate when companies build their links so that you can’t share them with other people. It’s like buying a watch that doesn’t tell time to go along with your cell phone that doesn’t make calls. Kind of defeats the purpose, if you ask me.

Coupon: Free El Baton Cigar

EDIT: Blarg! Their coupon supply has gone up in smoke.

If you take part in what might be the shortest survey ever created, you can receive a coupon for a free El Baton cigar. Now while my knowledge of cigars doesn’t go much farther than “hey, which side do you cut off again?,” I still can’t wait to get this freebie. There’s just something about a nice cigar every once in a while that I can’t put my finger on.

Make sure your speakers are turned down when you first head to their site. I about gave my dog a heart attack when the peaceful quiet she was enjoying was interrupted by a cacophony of jazz music.
