Free Redbox Rental Code

It’s the first Monday of the month, so you know what that means…free Redbox Rental Code! You’ve got until midnight CST tonight to use the code 4J7LF6 at your nearest box location to get a free movie rental.

Wait, is that the right code *double checks his cell phone* yeah, that’s it. I’m always worried I’ll mess up a number or letter when I’m transcribing it and then I’ll get hundreds of emails from angry Hiffers. It hasn’t happened yet, but you better beleive I’m knocking on wood like crazy right now.

    I used a promo code this weekend on an old debit card with a balance of .32 cents on it. Figured no problem, because the movie was free. But, I forgot to return it by 9 pm. So now, according to the rules….I will have to provide redbox with an alternative payment form and pay the maximum penelties and interest allowed by Illinois law.

    Anyone know how much this freebie is gonna cost me?

    omg, lulu, what a hassle to have to go through for a freebie! maybe you can look it up online somewhere. i thought it was a dollar a night. dont know what they are reffering to, but i saw on the box itself, they will charge you $28(i think) and then you own the movie. so in other words, they charge you for almost a full month as a penalty. GL, im not positive, i know states are different,

    What if I’m late?

    At redbox, there is no such thing as a late fee. Each night you enjoy the DVD is only an additional $1.00 plus tax.

    So, it should only charge you a few bucks.

    I have been on hold w/redbox for a while now, but here are the official rules.

    “At the time of rental, Redbox will seek an authorization from your payment card company equal to the Rental Charge for the first Rental Period for each Disc that you rent. If this authorization is received, the actual charge to your account at the time of rental will be only for Rental Charge for the first Rental Period. Redbox is authorized to charge your payment card for any additional Rental Charges and fees that you may incur.

    You agree to provide us with an alternate, valid payment card if any additional Rental Charges or fees are declined for any reason. If your payment card is declined, we reserve the right to charge you interest for overdue charges at the then-highest current rate allowable on Illinois contracts. You also agree to pay all collection fees, including but not limited to reasonable attorneys fees. “

    I would suggest to return the movie and then go stick about $10.00 into that account and let it draw out the amount needed! I’m sure that will cover it.
