Instore Tomorrow: Cow Appreciation Day at Chik-Fil-A

For those who might have forgotten, tomorrow is Chik-Fil-A’s Cow Appreciation Day, where you dress like a cow, you get free food.

Goob gave you a month to prepare with his post, but if you happen to have forgotten, well, they’ve got the costume kit for download.

And like I said last year, if you do partake in this? Please send us your pictures or links to them… :D Me? I miss having one nearby. Someone want to priority mail me some waffle fries?

I am so peeved. My sisters were staying with me this week, and I figured we would stop at CFA on our way to take them home and get free meals, right? So we all dressed up like cows ( a hard task when one of them is 15 and worried about her "image", got to the CFA in Gulfport, MS, got me, my 2 year old, my 1 year old, my 12 year old sister and my very disgruntled 15 year old sister out of the car and the employees said that it was only for breakfast.

Wow, this freebie was great and fun! There were only a handful of people at our crowded store participating, but the employees sure were happy to see us and I got to feed my family of six a free lunch. Well, five of us, anyway, I just couldn't get my hubby to don his cowstume. Unfortunately, we spilled soda on our masks, so I didn't get a pic myself, but the employees took a pic and asked us to sign a waiver so they could post it. I think I will contact the store and see if I can get a copy of it emailed to me. I had painted black splotches on white shirts, made bull masks for the boys and cow masks for my daughter and myself, sprayed adhesive onto cutout black splotches to add more to our pants, and I even knitted each of us a tail. It was a ton of fun. The kids even insisted on wearing the "eat mor chikin" signs. Just so you know, if you are heading out to this for dinner, the free meal is for a full costume only. If you only wear a hat or just decorate a shirt, it's just a free entree according to the rules. They really want to see you all decked out.

My kids and I just got back from getting our fee meals. The kids had a great time. There must have been about 30 other kids ( and some adults as well) there. The employees all seemed to be very excited about seeing so many people participating.

I'm stoked on this. Planning on going for breakfast/lunch/dinner! I'm just hoping this doesn't turn out to be like the KFC Free Chicken Fiasco, I mean as far as the crowds/lines go. Anyone have any past experience on how the lines are? Also, does the offer apply if I use the drive-thru?

Chicken sandwiches are the best and, although they cost a little more, their milkshakes are awesome.

Wow, I would love to take advantage of this offer but unfortunately we don't have a chik-fil-a in our area.

thanks! my family is going to hawaii sunday, so i was planning on refrigerating the food for the 11 hour flight -.o

wow missa take a pic so we all can see. lol good luck

haha. me and a friend are about to go out and get our costumes =] (we plan on going to every CFA in the next two towns, which is about 5)
