It looks like Aveda is giving away another in-store freebie, but this time the coupon doesn’t expire until the end of 2009. In order to get a free Aveda three-piece sample pack, print out this free coupon on that link and take it into your nearby store. The pack contains Aveda Smooth Infusion shampoo, conditioner, and style-prep smoother – wait, the style-prep item has “smooth” twice in its name? Seems a little slightly redundant repetitive.

If you happen to be one of the legions of underpaid and under appreciated teachers out there, then perhaps this free gift bag at Staples as part of a Teacher Appreciate Event will help in the smallest way possible. Simply plug in your info to find out when your local Staples is holding their event (some are soon, most are in Aug.) and then be one of the first 100 teachers to show up on the special day to snag a bag.

I one time thought about becoming a teacher and thus long-term substituted for a while. Then I realized I wasn’t good at…uh…explaining things. Apparently one of the requirements to being a good teacher is that you have to be able to teach! Who would have thunk it?

Hey look, it’s another Spanish Dove offer! This free Dove Energy Glow body wash is actually bundled with a free moisturizer with self-tanners. What are self-tanners, you ask? Not a clue. Isn’t all tanning self-tanning to begin with? Since when do you need a second person to get a tan? Unless we’re considering the sun to be a sentient being in this equation. As I sit here, slowly drinking more to try to make sense of all of my reports and numbers from work, I find myself really trying hard to not spill my beer. Blasphemy, you know?

Needless to say, that’s why I’d need this free Viva paper towel sample. For all of the nights when I find myself pouring over numbers it never hurts to have something else other than extra copies I don’t need to mop up my messes…
