Coupon: Free Mars Chocolate Bar

It just dawned on me that these free Mars Chocolate Bar coupon offers are going to end eventually. That is not a thought I like having, so in my mind this offer is going to live on for years, nay, decades to come! It sure is charming leading such a blissfully ignorant life.

Three More Free Books

EDIT: They appear to have stopped taking orders.

It seems that with all of these free book offers as of the the late, someone’s telling me that I should start reading some more. So that’s what I did before I crashed last night (I’m about half through Floodmarkers by Nic Brown, and I highly recommend, if you’re interested).

And while what I was reading wasn’t a free book, this link to GalleryGrab.com gives you more options for free books from a publisher. Can’t really top that, if you ask me.

Well, I could if it was a rainy day and I had it off and I didn’t have to go in for work, so that I could just curl up with some hot cocoa and the remainder of my book. Maybe I’ll just have to arrange that tonight when I get home…

Free Tea Day @ McAlister’s Deli

I figuratively dropped the ball on this free Tea Day at McAlister’s Deli, which is today! I’m sure had I been holding a real ball, I would have literally dropped that as well.

The offer is valid all day long today, so if you have a McAlister’s nearby, feel free to snag a free drink.

[thanks to everybody who reminded me!]

IS: Lowe’s Build & Grow Clinic

It seems like these free Lowe’s Build & Grow Clinics keep sneaking up on me, almost like the one this Saturday, July 25 did. It looks like this weekend they’ll be showing kids how to build helicopters, which is pretty darn cool to me. I actually once wanted to become a helicopter pilot, but then changed my mind when I found out how hard they were to fly. I’m not even sure I’d be able to fly this little toy. I know some part spins and then there’s…like another spinny…thing. Oh forget it, I didn’t want to play with the toy anyway!

Free Omaha Steaks Cookbook

I’ve had the Omaha Steaks before, and I remember the same thing about them that I remember about the Chicago Stockyard meat: I was more enamored with the dry ice than the meat. That’s not to say that the steaks and hot dogs I’ve had from them weren’t good, its just saying that dry ice is awesome.

Sadly, though, I don’t think this free Omaha Steaks cookbook and coupon packet has any dry ice coming with it. Hopefully I’ll find it just as interesting…

Free Purple Rain Cover Album

I hope our computers don’t turn blue and we don’t all go crazy while doves cry all over this free Purple Rain cover album. Though, if you’re caught in the purple rain and looking for the right word, the answer is “keyboardist”

And the Princely one himself hopefully would appreciate this tribute cover album. Heck, I’ll even admit that I enjoy the movie and the album…

Free Get Married Magazine

Thankfully when my wife and I were planning our wedding, she didn’t buy the twenty magazines and cut and paste and scrapbook everywhere. But, after working with my store’s bridal consultant for as long as I have, I’ve seen plenty of brides who come in with the unabridged dictionary stack of magazines.

So for the future grooms, beware and hide this free Get Married magazine from her. It’ll only be another thick magazine that won’t have anything good in it for you. Stay as far away from it as you can and wait for the handheld scanners and cake testings, because next to the honeymoon? That’s as good as it gets…

Instore: Free 10-Day Sample of Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair

I feel like the title alone is a bit of a mouthful, but I know that’s hardly the case after reading the PA announcement for work tomorrow night when I close.

Needless to say about tomorrow, Thursday, July 23rd from 5-9pm, Estée Lauder counters nationwide at department stores will be giving away free 10 day samples of their Advanced Night Repair cream. From what I’ve heard from the counter manager at the store that I work at, its phenomenal. They offered me some when I shaved my head at the end of June.

But that’s a story for another time…

IS: Free Arby’s Roastburger (w/ purchase)

On second thought, I’m going to go snag a free Arby’s Roastburger with a small drink purchase and then go home! As with every other Wednesday this summer, this is part of Arby’s free food summer giveaway promotion.

Also, some Hiffers are reporting that Michigan residents can get a free Roast Beef sandwich without a purchase since my beloved Mariners served up three homeruns to the Detroit Tigers last night. All you have to do is print out last night’s box score and bring it in, but you might want to call ahead to make sure your local store is participating.

Free Parent’s Choice Infant Formula

EDIT: Darn, looks like they’ve run out of supplies.

I’m in the middle of one of those weeks where by Wednesday I’m ready to stab myself with any blunt object I can find. I’ve run more errands in the past three days than in the past three months combined. (goob’s brain: yeah, maybe that’s the problem) Heck, I’m typing this post right now while standing in line at the bank. Hey, Mr. Bank Teller – just give the lady her money!!

Sorry, where was I? Oh yeah, free Parent’s Choice Infant Formula from Walmart. Oh boy, how am I going to tie this in with the bank. Um, let’s see, is anybody breast feeding? *scans room* Darn. How about I go buy a giant tin of formula and come throw it at the bank manager’s head for only having one teller while a million people are in line?

Uh-oh, I’m getting violent! Screw this, I’m going home.
