Free Burts Bees Natural Acne Solutions Sample
Usually we like to test the freeibes before we post them. That way, well, we have an idea of how it reacts and how many are available and that its not dead yet.
Unfortunately, this free Burt’s Bees Natural Acne Solutions sample goes live on August 10th. Does that mean midnight EST? Noon? I couldn’t tell you. But I can tell you that its still technically available, just not available to request until the 10th. And that because we know it goes live on August 10th, it’ll soon be good. I use Burt’s Bees lip balm all of the time ( unfortunately I need to every day, or my lips get seriously chapped ) but it rocks.
Not working yet, but I don’t have acne, so it doesn’t bother me.

No. Not a good PR move – however – a great move on getting and holding the attention of prospective consumers which is what retail sales are all aboutk, thus the mindset behind the whole freebie concept.

Its STILL not working after 12PM Eastern time. I don’t like BB’s web site. When they had chapstick giveaway, I went to their site and it said not yet active and I closed the browser to go to their web site again and it said all samples are out for today, try tomorrow. This sucks.
I thought surely by 12:00 noon it would be up and running. But NNOOO!
And Veronica is right, I remember about the lip balm fiasco, I had a similar experience.
As much as I like Burt’s Bees products, their marketing leaves much to be desired (and I’m saying that in a nice way!)
I even tried clicking on “learn more about the product” but only got product info and nothing about when the offer would be up

Burt’s has an 800 number, so I called them (8008497112). This less than enthusiastic rep, Tiffany, told me that since the website didn’t specify a time, it would be up sometime in the afternoon. She said there’d be enough samples to go around. I asked her if I could leave my name and address since I’ve tried the site several times, to which she replied, “Actually, there’s nothing I can do.” Clearly, there was nothing she was willing to do. Not a likely candidate for Customer Service Rep of the Year, ya think? Good luck!
Still checking…NOTHING!!! It is now 1:16 EST. Um just leaving the tab open and “clicking” refresh! Good thing I have no life!! (It just so happens the kids wanna take a day off from Cedar Point!) Yea ME!!!!!

Since I had some time to kill, I tried calling the toll free number Merry Carrie provided. Sadly, I was put on hold and they don’t have a counter telling you how many people are ahead of you. After 5 minutes I got a rep who apologized for not knowing when other than the afternoon it would be available.
Wonder if this is for adults or teens that have acne?

I don’t know why everytime Burt’s has a freebie there has to be some “mystery time” to get it. It’s just silly and I feel like calling them and telling them but I don’t think it will get me anywhere!

When I did not find a place to request a ‘sample’, I did a search for the word and they brought up about 85 product package choices. I HAD FORGOTTEN THAT THEY REFER TO THE SMALL PACKAGED SETS ON SALE AS SAMPLES! I BELIEVE THAT IS WHAT THEY ARE REFERING TO AND EXPLAINS WHY IT CAN’T BE REQUESTED.
I love Burt’s Bees products! However, their “freebies” are enough to make me swear off the products! I never managed to get a free lip balm (not having had a lifeir I tried … many many times) and now this iritating “going on line” one.
Their products are great so I’d really like this freebie but I agree, this ain’t fun. I was able to get the lip balm but it took several attempts and I really think it was dumb luck more than anything else.

When I ticked the box that said “severe acne” it said that I do not qualify for the offer!!! So, I went onto my daughters computer and ticked the “mild” box. Take a lesson- tick the “mild acne” box!!!
I’m gonna give it to a friend of mine. Luckily, I never had a pimple. However, I’ve always had an extra 30 lbs. on my rear and thighs that I’m not real crazy about!!!

When I go to the site and answer the question I am given the message that I do not “qualify” for the sample. Does this mean that there are not any samples left. I tried all the answers and they all say the same thing. Also there are no coupons. Has anyone actually been successful with this sample?
