Prilosec is not a short term remedy. It is my understanding, that Prilosec works by turning down the acid pump in your stomach. It takes several days for it to start to work. It is good for chronic, daily symptoms. I have taken one every other day for years for the the treatment of GERDS.... BUT only under the Doctor's supervision.

If the mosquitos by us get any bigger they will be able to put us on the grill ... maybe I'll tell them how nice and considerate Goob is taking Prilosec so he doesn't give the mosquitos heart burn and they will go in search of more considerate people than me!

i always try the wal mart samples but i't doesn't let me get the sample. what is the deal? can someone shed some light on this please?

I said I had heartburn seven or more times a week, truth is I never have heartburn. But sometimes, no often, no almost all the time, friends and family who eat dinner at my house often-almost-all the time complain of heartburn after they eat my cooking. Now I can serve a meal and some Prilosec for dinner =)!!! Aren't I a good host =) =) =) !!!

I said that I only have heartburn once a week, and don't take medicine. They told me that I don't need their product and now I don't get a sample. So, make sure to tell them how much you need it.
