A few years ago, Chick-fil-A changed their awesome Cow Appreciation Day event into a new promo called Code Moo. Instead of dressing up like a cow, the new system had us playing games to earn free items.
And let's be honest – Code Moo stunk compared to the old system.
But you know what? Cow Appreciate Day is back this year!!
On July 14, 2026, celebrate 80 years of Chick-fil-A in business by enjoying a free entree simply by dressing up like a cow.
The level of dress up you decide to go for is totally up to you. I speak from experience that you can wear a white t-shirt with a piece of black tape as your “spot” and just moo and they'll could that as good enough.
Or you can go all out like my sister and I did many, many moons ago.
What item you get will be determined by the time of day you go. Cow Appreciation Day will run from 7am-7pm on July 14 and you'll get:
- During Breakfast: 1 free Chick-fil-A Chicken Biscuit (Original) or 4-count Chick-n-Minis.
- During Lunch/Dinner: 1 free Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich (Original or Spicy); 8-count Nuggets (Original or Grilled); or 3-count Chick-n-Strips.
- Kids: A 5-count Nuggets Kids' Meal (Original or Grilled), which includes a side, drink, and premium.
This is a fantastic promo when it comes to grabbing a free meal.
