Free Redbox Rental Code

My phone just chirped alive to deliver this month’s free Redbox rental code, 27HZ4KT, which is valid until midnight CST. When I used my code last month, there happened to be four or five people in line with me. I decided to speak up and mention the code out loud, which most of them thanked me for. However, one guy started screaming at me as if I’d sold state secrets to China. As I dodged spittle projectiles inbound for my head, he politely explained berated me that the only reason he was there was because his daughter had sent him the code, but now it was going to be “useless because of all you damn hippies!”

I hope I don’t run into him again today.

If you’re new to Redbox, check out the Redbox Explanation Guide that covers all the basics of how to use the free rental codes as well as some personal tips & tricks I’ve discovered to help maximize your freebie movies.

Free Vans Warped Tour 2009 Song Sampler

I went to the Warped Tour once. It was back in Orlando in 2002. I skipped out on watching Good Charlotte to see Orlando local band Unsung Zeros play on a small side stage. Much better show than the big stage.

Needless to say, none of these bands on this free 2009 Vans Warped Tour sampler really ring a bell with me. Other than NOFX and Bad Religion. I guess that means I’m really getting old…

HIF July Contest Winner

Before we get to the good stuff, I want to ask a quick question: does the site look okay in your browser? I spent all day ignoring a million other pressing needs in my life in an effort to tweak the site and make it a little faster. I cleaned up a ton of old code and the site should look just like it did yesterday, but before I go any further with it, I want to make sure I didn’t unknowingly break something.

And with that, thanks goes out to everybody who participated in the Teenormous t-shirts July HIF contest. I had fun going through the comments and reading everybody’s favorite freebie. The winning comment number belonged to Sandy, whose husband will soon be rocking out a wicked Metallica t-shirt.

Thanks again for participating and the next contest shall start shortly!

Free Baby Blossom at Texas Roadhouse

We always try to get on the freebie train early, but sometimes they just fall right under our noses. Like this delicious smelling and looking free Baby Blossom at Texas Roadhouse with this coupon. Yup. Through tomorrow–August 3–this coupon works. So if you happen to be heading near one? I’d say head on in with the coupon and get a sweet tea or two (if you decide to bring someone to share it with, seeing today is Friendship Day) and just relax.

And yes, I said delicious smelling. I’ve been sniffing my monitor for the past twenty minutes and trying not to drool on my keyboard…

Free 3D Movie Glasses

To say that 3D movies have been making a comeback would be an understatement. Though, I think its been everything other than the Red-Blue stereophonic glasses (although I did like the gag in Journey to the Center of the Earth with Brendan Fraiser), so these new 3D movie glasses are worth a grab! Even if for the very least to walk around all day wearing them and making Mork and Mindy jokes…

Free Tank Top

EDIT: This has been Hiffed

JCPenny seems to be doing a lot recently… From adding a store a few blocks down from the flagship Herald’s Square Macy’s to giving away this free tank top? I don’t know what they’ll do next.

I’m assured, however, that it won’t be put a man on the moon. Or so my sources tell me…

[I've been getting mixed reports with this one and the submission page. Some people say it works, others have had issues with it. For me, I think it went in alright, but I'm just not sure, so I'm putting it here so you can try your luck!]

Free Honey Nut Cheerios

This free Honey Nut Cheerios plus $1 coupon offer has me freaked out, because I literally just polished off a nice, delicious bowl of said cereal. Is today going to be like one of those cheesy teen movies where a magical spell has been cast upon me and everything I eat suddenly is available as a freebie? Alright… I’ll take one for the team and eat all the money in my wallet.

Anybody know a good recipe for $20 bills?

Free Annies 2010 Calendar

Its hard to believe that today’s August 1st. I mean, seriously, where has this year gone? One year ago today, I had just moved in with my in-laws for a half a month before moving half-way across the country. And if you were to ask me where I thought I’d be a year ago? I certainly wouldn’t have told you that I’d be doing what I’m doing now. Thankfully, I’ve got my trusty Majestic Mountains calendar to keep track of my work schedule and all of those other wonderful things!

But when that runs out in 4 more months, well, I hope that this free Annies 2010 calendar does the job. Yup, I just needed to give them the UPC from a Mac & Cheese box (013562302109) and tell them that I bought that box today (08/01/09) or later, and I’ll be keeping track of my next year on a calendar with bunnies and noodles.
