It took me 24 hours to realize I’d uploaded the wrong Sharpie coupon to the School Supply Deals post I made yesterday. My bad, folks! They don’t call me Goob for nothing.

These free Kraftmaid Kitchen Idea Books usually only last a few hours each month. Back in May it lasted until dinner time and by last month, it lasted probably 2 hours. It’s basically a huge book and ideas to remodel your kitchen or house, so if you’re in the market for that kind of thing, check it out. I’m still not looking to remodel my home, but it can never hurt to have a massive book for bonfire kindling lying around!

It turns out that a decent number of new visitors come to HIF in search of “free school supplies” every day. That’s great until you realize that we don’t have that many free school supplies here. In fact, the post that seems to attract the most attention is almost three years old, which of course make it invalid.

Kinda. If you have a birthday in August, you can receive a free Chocolate Lava Crunch Cake from Domino’s free of charge between now and August 31! The rest of us poor suckers have to buy a BreadBowl Pasta in order to get our free crunch cake, but we have until September 13th! So the jokes on you, August Birthdayers!

Actually, I guess y’all could also buy something during September and get a freebie as well. Dang it! Well whatever, I’ll just go sign up for some more birthday freebies and say my birthday is this month so that I get the coupons now.

Walmart is giving away some free Oxy Maximum cleansing pads for anybody who needs a little help in the battle against acne. As a teenager, I once took that metaphor a little too far while in chemistry class. A few of my upstanding young role model friends and I decided to see if we could make our own mustard gas. Halfway through the process, I dropped the beaker and blasted my face with our concoction. It turned out to work wonders for my acne! The only slight downside was that it slightly scalded the rest of my face.

And just think, pretty soon my generation will be running the place!

Don’t forget that today is the final free McDonald’s Mocha Monday where you can get a free iced or hot Mocha between now and 7pm. Since McDonald’s is giving away this freebie, I’ve decided to repay them by not mentioning how much I hate their stupid commercials. Using an acute accent does not make any bad situation turn better!
