New Swagbucks & Features For All

Please raise your hand if you’ve never heard of Swagbucks. Holy moly, why are so many of you holding your hands up?

For anybody who is new to HIF, SB is basically Google + prizes. You search with them just as you would with Google, but the key difference occurs when you win swag bucks, which can be redeemed for gift cards, books, sports memorabilia, video games, school supplies – you name it, they’ve got it. Unless you just named pet turtles. I don’t think they have those.

Well the bigwigs at Swagbucks are releasing some new features and as a result, have offered new users from HIF a free swag code that gives them 2 free points. Couple that with the automatic 3 free points you’ll get for signing up and that’s…uh…hold on, let me find my calculator.

The code is freeswagcode (in all lower caps) and expires on 9/10/09.

Like I said, SB has some new features, for new and old users alike. One is a toolbar that is compatible with Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari. The cool thing about the bar is that, for the entire month of September, SB will release an exclusive free swagcode each day on it! That’s 30 free swag bucks by the end of the month! An Amazon giftcard costs only 45 points, so toss in whatever points you’ve already earned and you’ll most likely have enough to get it!

They’ve also got a version of Bingo coming out called SWAGO where you can play and win points. It hasn’t been released yet, but you can check out their blog this week and get all the details there. And as always, their Twitter and Facebook accounts are pretty good sources for unique codes as well.

Loving Swagbucks and loving HIF! After just one month I have almost enough Swagbucks for two free $5 Amazon cards. (I would have more than enough but I have wasted a lot of bucks on Swagstakes. it worked for me at first i have 14 swagbucks, but the last few days have not recieved any new codes?

I downloaded the tool bar and I received the first swagcode. This was 2 days ago, and I have not seen any codes since. Do they stay up all day? Where can they be found. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Lauren, You should just be able to copy and paste those codes on the main page unter Enter a Swag Code. It doesn't tell you that they worked or anything, your number just goes up. I put the nominiation code in there and it worked. I hope you get it to work for you!

I signed up for the toolbar, so I get alerted now when a new code is available. However, I don't know what to do with some of them! I haven't gotten any of the codes to work on the main page (Enter a Swag Code). Also, today's little code said 'Enter "Nominations4FtjEcU" on any Search&Win site before 1PM PDT!' Where do I go to redeem this code? I typed it in on one of the search and win site's search area, but it just searched the web for the code and didn't find anything matching it. I may be dense, but can you still help me out? Thanks for all the great free stuff!

The code worked for me too. It doesn't actually tell you that you got 3 additional Swagbucks, it just shows up that you have 5 when you get in there. Thanks for letting us know about this Goob! I'm all for money for nothing ;)

ok so i just entered in THEIR code of the day and it worked. But Goob yours isnt working for me. It says enter a valid code. And i typed it all lower case as well.

I've grown to really like SwagBucks. So far I've gotten $45. in Amazon gift cards, a SwagBucks tee, and some other gift card that I no longer remember, and with only one referral ( my wife, whose account got b7 on account of the fact that we live in the same house ) and I only use it once or twice a day. It's been basically zero work and I get paid a good deal for it! :D Thanks again, Goob!

Just heard back from Swagbucks. It seems the code is working, as over 100 Hiffers have used it so far. Are you sure you're typing in the code in all small letters?

I just signed up a few minutes ago and I cannot get ANY of the codes to work. Maybe there is a bug?

Glad everybody has enjoyed Swagbucks so far! I too have gotten a ton of Amazon gift cards :) The code mentioned in this post is for new members only. I'll make the post a bit clearer. Are other new members (people who signed up today) having trouble with the code?

Thank you for telling people about swagbucks. I started using it about a year ago, (prompted by one of your posts,) and it is FANTASTIC. I seriously don't know why people turn it down. I've gotten a t-shirt and a trading card from the store, and $85 IN AMAZON GIFT CARDS! Thanks for the AWESOME suggestion!

Hey Goob, I have been using swagbucks for my searches for awhile now, ever since you mentioned it a few months ago. I use my swagbucks to enter the swagstakes. I got a swagbuck for installing the new toolbar today, but the code you mentioned on your site does not give a swagcode. Thanks for all you do!!
