IS: Free Youth Hunting License at Meijer

I act big and tough, but anybody who gets this free youth hunting license from Meijer could probably kick my butt. I one time accidentally killed a fish and spent months in therapy. If I was ever transported back in time to a hunter-gatherer society, I’d last approximately 8.4 seconds before being eaten by a bear.

The coupon is valid until September 26 and says there’s a maximum value of $15, which is…good? Bad? I have no idea how much hunting licenses cost and a Google search produced a picture of a dead moose, which brought on the waterworks. Uh-oh, here they come again just thinking about it. I need to get away from my laptop before it gets wet!

A discounted adult license would be sweet! My husband hunts elk every year and this year I'm going out to go for a deer. Hope I have some luck! My tags gonna cost me about $35-$40. I'm looking forward to venison jerky!

I think a licence is between $20-30, so that is a good deal. I gave up hunting since moving inot the city :(

An adult license runs about $30. The free youth license is a pretty good deal around here. It would be great if they ever offered the adult license at a discount, then maybe could get rid of some more of the abundant deer around here! (yes, we hunt, and yes, we eat what we kill. We don't waste anything)

I'm confused. Do these licenses allow you to hunt youths for free? That 'd be sweet, because there are some really annoying youths in my neighborhood.

Yup, that's about right for the cost of a youth hunting license. An in-state license for an adult can cost around $50, but also depends on what you are hunting. Make sure that your youth has completed a hunters saftey course. I don't know about other states, but here in CO there are classes offered on occasion for Women and Youth only that are free. See what your D.O.W. offers for your area. Remember to be safe!
