The free youth license is a pretty good deal around here. It would be great if they ever offered the adult license at a discount, then maybe could get rid of some more of the abundant deer around here! (yes, we hunt, and yes, we eat what we kill. An in-state license for an adult can cost around $50, but also depends on what you are hunting. Make sure that your youth has completed a hunters saftey course. I don't know about other states, but here in CO there are classes offered on occasion for Women and Youth only that are free. See what your D.O.W. offers for your area. Remember to be safe!
