IS: Lowe’s Build & Grow Clinic on 9/26

October is Safety Month, so let’s give kids power tools to build a fire truck at the next free Lowe’s Build & Grow Clinic! Whatever could go wrong with that?!

I kid, of course. Every Hiffer that’s written in about these free clinics have said their children had a great time and that they’re well supervised. As usual, the clinic is from 10-11am this Saturday and you’ll need to register online ahead of time.

Thank you! My kids love these and it is a fun way to start a family weekend. :)

so mom and dad left me this weekend with all 3 sisters, I cannot wait to drop them off at Lowes so I can play 2moons in peace!

Oldest son: I’ve never seen any parent drop their child off at the clinic. The “supervision” consists of a guy sitting behind the counter. They don’t even show the children how to build the item: they just hand you your hammer and your baggy of pieces.

I’m not complaining, I love it and take my son every time I can. But it’s not free baby-sitting.

My kids loved this one more than most. Our Lowes had the local fire company come out w/ their fire truck and the kids were given all kinds of safety stickers/coloring books/fire helmets/etc. That was quite a nice touch. Given that their daddy is a firefighter made it even more thrilling. I gotta’ give it to Lowe’s on this particular one!
