Free Kraftmaid Kitchen Idea Book

EDIT: And they’re gone for the month!

The free Kraftmaid Kitchen Idea Book is back for a few hours today, but frankly, I would appreciate it more if Kraft just send me a maid. My sink apparently won’t clean my dishes for me. I could have sworn that was a right guaranteed in the Bill of Rights or 10 Commandments or something. Thou’s sink shall cleanse thy eating utensils nightly. Otherwise, thou shall be entitled to a free house-cleaner.

Yep, sounds right to me.

To get the book, you have to click “Request Idea Book” at the top of the page.

Coupon: Free CankerMelts

Here’s a coupon for a free 12-count of CankerMelts at Walgreens or Rite Aid that expires on Sept. 15. They gave some away back in January that I remember using and…I guess they work. They pretty much just numb the area around the canker so that it doesn’t bother you for a few hours. It’s like whiskey, but without the side effect that urges you to call your ex-significant other at 3 in the morning.

16 Free Harlequin e-Books

To celebrate their 60th anniversary, you can download up to 16 free Harlequin e-books, which all together retail for $60. While browsing through the available titles, I spotted one cover with a hunky guy and gorgeous girl locked in a deep embrace. That’s funny, I don’t remember there being any photographers around then. I should probably make sure there aren’t any paparazzi in my bushes right now.

Free $15 P&G Coupon Book

This free $15 Proctor & Gamble coupon book is being given away by Save-A-Lot, so I’m not sure if they’ll only be valid at that store or if they will be general manufacturer coupons valid anywhere. My hunch tells me it’s the latter, but we’ll see how accurate that is when the book arrives in 4-6 weeks.

That’s pretty much my attitude for everything. “Oh really officer, I was speeding? We’ll see about that in court!” Turns out I was. Judges apparently trust “radar readings” more than my claim that I can tell how fast I’m going by sticking my head out the window.

Freebies via Facebook Ads?

Facebook Freebies in ads

Tech news sites Mashable and Inside Facebook are reporting that some companies are testing out a new Facebook advertising feature by offering freebies directly in their ads! The current ad that people are finding is a Chick-fil-A offer that links to a free chicken biscuit. If you happen to see the ad, simply click, enter in your address, and they’ll send you a coupon!

If you happen to spot any other Facebook freebies, please let me know in the comments and maybe take a screenshot of it. Also, while you’re there, why not become a fan of Hey, It’s Free? :)

Free Bottle of Water

Wednesday Mornings are one of the three mornings from the week that I say aren’t fair game to mess with people. Mondays are sort of just “there” as are Thursdays, but on Tuesdays and Fridays? Fair game, if you ask me.

Alas, though, this free bottle of water coupon for any Racetrack is messing with me on a Wednesday. With no Racetrack station on my trek into work, it looks like I’ll be getting Dasani from the vending machine in the breakroom again or drinking from the water fountains today…

Coupon: Free Taco Bell Frutista Freeze

Edit: Taco Bell asked that I remove this coupon. As such, this offer is no longer available.

KZZP is a radio station in the Phoenix area and they’ve currently got a link on their site for a free Taco Bell Frutista Freeze coupon, which doesn’t expire until 12/31/2009. The fine print doesn’t mention anything about being only valid in Phoenix or even at “participating locations,” so it should be good nationwide. If anybody gives you trouble when using it, just tell them to contact me. I’ve got a lot of pull in the fast food industry.1

Here’s a direct link to the coupon image so that you don’t have to print the entire page. It contains a lot of colors, so make sure your printer is set to black and white so that you don’t waste too much ink!

  1. Goob has absolutely no pull, influence, or any other type of power in the fast food industry whatsoever. []

New Swagbucks & Features For All

Win free money just be searching

EDIT: The code below is no longer valid.

Please raise your hand if you’ve never heard of Swagbucks. Holy moly, why are so many of you holding your hands up?

For anybody who is new to HIF, SB is basically Google + prizes. You search with them just as you would with Google, but the key difference occurs when you win swag bucks, which can be redeemed for gift cards, books, sports memorabilia, video games, school supplies – you name it, they’ve got it. Unless you just named pet turtles. I don’t think they have those.

Well the bigwigs at Swagbucks are releasing some new features and as a result, have offered new users from HIF a free swag code that gives them 2 free points. Couple that with the automatic 3 free points you’ll get for signing up and that’s…uh…hold on, let me find my calculator.

The code is freeswagcode (in all lower caps) and expires on 9/10/09.

Like I said, SB has some new features, for new and old users alike. One is a toolbar that is compatible with Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari. The cool thing about the bar is that, for the entire month of September, SB will release an exclusive free swagcode each day on it! That’s 30 free swag bucks by the end of the month! An Amazon giftcard costs only 45 points, so toss in whatever points you’ve already earned and you’ll most likely have enough to get it!

They’ve also got a version of Bingo coming out called SWAGO where you can play and win points. It hasn’t been released yet, but you can check out their blog this week and get all the details there. And as always, their Twitter and Facebook accounts are pretty good sources for unique codes as well.

So there ya go! Put all those hands down now and enjoy winning prizes on Swagbucks. :)

Free Gyros Day (in Chicago)

Okay, here’s another location-specific freebie that Hiffers in the Chicago area will be able to enjoy. It turns out that today, September 1, is Free Gyros Day at Kronos. Simply pick your local joint, print out the coupon, and take it in today for a free Gyro.

In completely unrelated news, I live near an airport and could be in Chicago in a matter of hours. Anybody want to pick me up?

Free Bear Naked Granola or Cereal

I literally am losing my mind. Upon seeing this free Bear Naked Granola Bar or Cereal, I instantly recognized the company and remembered that they’d given away a sample of their granola a while ago. I figured it was back in May, maybe April.

Nope. It was last September!

Yet another reason why I shouldn’t be relied upon for anything. Seriously, who put me in charge of this place? Can we get a recount?
